although this took me a while to clean up, it's one of my BEST pieces EVER. Â I personally don't think I'll ever pull off something this close to perfection ever again.

Sniffswind, I like the coloring and the face. Something doesn't look right about the positioning of the legs though. As I look at the picture, the thigh lines would probably go in front of the bottom parts of the legs, showing these parts are 'behind' the thighs.
Other than that, you do seem to be improving. Just keep practicing and you will be surprised how much you do improve. Artists aren't created over night. Takes a long time to develop the skills.
For me, I can't do the art on the computer like you and other artists I have seen. I tried and just go right back to the pencil and paper. Much easier for me.
I know some folks don't see computer images as art but it is still an art form. That also takes practice and learning your programs. Me, I guess I don't want to take the time needed to try my hand at the computer art.
As far as size, you can always make it smaller for the internet and still keep your original sized piece. I make mine smaller and then add the size to it so I know which one is which. Example: "something.jpg" and "something_500.jpg". This tells me which is the original and which is resized and at what size I made it. 500 pixels width is what I usually use. When making thumbnails, I resize them to 100 pixels or 150 pixels width and put a "tn" in front of it like this; "tnsomething_500.jpg". That way I also know this is my thumbnail.
Keep plugging away and post more as you get them. It is always cool to see your own improvements and it is a nice feeling when others can see it too.

Looks nice I bet your proud. Myself I would be estatic concidering I am lucky to create a stick figure on the computer. Though on Kada's point and I know not just on art, so often we think we hit our peek of perfection and then we suprise ourselves finding a way to improve again. As most artists have found out, the more you do the better you'll get and the more you'll suprise yourself. Nice job on your pic!

I've found out one thing that makes drawing great. The more you draw, the better you get.
