I quirked my eyebrow at the last question, though seeing that we still had a few more minutes before we hit the LZ I didn't see any reason why not to answer.
"Hmm... I was woken up very quickly. Earth was put on a huge emergancy. Some sort of alien fleet came out of nowhere and destroyed one of the outer perimeter sats near Pluto. Even the Chinese were aiming their weapons away from us. It's hard to tell, they came in great masses. They ripped apart the first contact fleets, and the first three defense waves. Our fleet was the last one to make contact before Earth was open. The French, german, and italian fleets were taking some major beatings.
Engagement was fast. Their ships were far more powerful then ours, faster, more manuverable, and alot heavily armed. Looking over my ship's sensor logs, they had ripped apart a crusier in ten seconds.
Their fighters were swarming. There was a whole crap load of them. We were putting up as best a fight as possible. I had one tailing me, real fast. cutting out the thrusters, I twisted my fighter to face the alien, and attempted to blast him. THough it's ship suddenly began to glow, the hull getting brighter and brighter. It was almost ontop of me before there was a sudden bright flash of light. Last thing I knew, I woke up in the middle of space, with no familar coordinates, no familar star patterns. Nothing. I don't know what happened, but I suspect that Earth and everyone there is dead now, because of those aliens. There wasn't anything we could of done."
