I now have two broken teeth. It's been determined that my remaining teeth will all have to be cut out and I end up with dentures. This now unexpected expense means I wont be able to make it to Biggest Little Furcon. I've been putting off getting dentures for a few years now. Not upset about that. Really wanted to go to this con because Kijani Loin will be there. Wanted to personally thank him for his videos. It was his videos that inspired me to look beyond what I initially found about the fandom.

LOL? What's so bad about being a nerd? Although sometimes people get nerd and Geek mixed up. My year 3 teacher said I was a nerd :) I liked that teacher.

Here is my understanding between the differences:
Nerd - An intelligent person.
Geek - A person interested in science fiction to an extent of being able to recite knowledge and facts about particular programs. (Such as Star Trek).

What the Macquarie concise dictionary thinks:
Nerd - an idiot ; fool
Geek - no definition

Here's what the internet thinks (Google definition):
Nerd - A foolish person who lacks social skills
Geek - An unfashionable person who lacks social skills

I think Nerd and geek are similar. Maybe geek is more to do with computing and Nerd to do with Sci-Fi.

I find Geek more insulting but generally I don't mind if someone calls me a nerd. I think it's a compliment to my intelligence :P According to Wikipedia (Which you shouldn't trust as a reliable source) the word Geek came from the word Geck which means fool or freak in German.

I'mmmmm sick.

Past four days my nose has been super congested, and I've been needing to find a tissue every 10 minutes. Today makes the fifth evening with no break. Tomorrow is day six, and it's not looking any better.

I just want to be able to sleep without my nose clogging up and not being able to breathe :(

Nooooo don't fall for it! Colds aren't nice. I've been dealing with a horribly stopped up and goober-y nose and throat the past five+ days, it sucks. Can't ever get a full night's rest because I can't breathe.

my colds usually arnt very bad, just a sore throat and maybe a runny nose. however EVERY YEAR i hit this point about a month or so into school i get an uncontrollably runny nose and sore throat that lasts at lest a month.

I got 2 hours of sleep last night. It turn's out 100% Camomile tea, which is supposed to induce sleep actually has the opposite effect on me. Instead of making me sleep it makes me stay awake and alert. It's really annoying because I just spent 8 hours lying in bed trying to get to sleep (This has happened to me on 4 separate nights that I've tried it). This leads to me being very tired the next day. I don't feel so tired though because I did get some sleep.

Also, Colds suck. Usually when I get them they can last from as short as 4 days to a month.

Hah. I wouldn't blame you for it not working. It's out of your control. Once when I was given sedative prior to a surgery it made me hyper for a bit. However.. My mum now want's me to drink 2 boxes of Camomile and Afternoon tea that she bought me. Guess I'll just drink it in the mornings or something ^.^ I'll drink some tomorrow. See what happens..

I havent had a cold for a while. Hopefully I won't get any this year. My immune system should be a lot better at dealing with colds now.

A very close friend of mine is having surgery. he is normally quite brave, but he openly admitted fear to me. i was unable to gain further information on why he needs surgery, and my rather overactive imagionation has me afraid he might die. Ive even considered (and i worship no god) praying for his safety, in the hopes that some power might here. Be well my beloved friend

I've been put on medication to try and ease the constant pain in my arms which runs the very real risk of causing my stomach and intestines to start bleeding :|
