Well its geting closer and I have alreal regestered and have my room booked, so the question is how many Furtoipaers or planning on going this year?...

I am playing around with this one. I can save $193 by flying into Little Rock rather than Memphis. To keep things cheap I will not be renting a car. anybody know about inter-city transportation form Little Rock to Memphis.

I decided to nix this one, I wanted to do something other than BBQ on labor day but it is to close to Rainfurrest.

Yea thats buggin me.... I can fly into Little Rock for a hundred less than Memphis, but I have to transfer planes at ........Memphis.

I have to do the same from Shreveport. Memphis is NWA's big southern hub.

If you take the 50 seat regional jets they rip you off. It's less expensive to fly Shreveport to Pittsburgh than it is to go from Shreveport to Huntsville, both stop in Memphis.

I've only flown to MFM once, and that was two years ago when I lucked out and paid around $120 for a round trip. It's about a 6 hour drive from East Texas.

I am so there the hotel keeps asking me why I stand around in the lobby. Considering it is only a 5 hour drive or so from me I am all about this con, especially since it was my first ever. For those furs flying to Little Rock, what about just getting off for your layover at Memphis and missing your connecting flight on purpose?

This looks like a con that falls under the spirit of Fur Fright in the sense that simplicity = fun!

I haven't ventured much in the South, save for living a year in Georgia as a kit. I'm looking forward to it! =3

This is definately a fun con to go to anytime you get the chance. From what I understand, our local MAP pack should be dragging at least... *stops to count off names in my head*

I think we will have at least 12 furs in our convoy, what do you think Savy?

I'm sure you will have a blast, Kivva, if for no other reason then random ballon bouncing near the indoor waterfall *headbump*
