2. Schedule Changes! In short, as of March 3rd, ponies move to 1pm EST on Saturdays, as opposed to 10am. Interesting change up to say the least. It almost makes me wonder if they're trying to pick a time that is better for the other half of their audience to actually watch it when it airs, in order to boost viewership/ratings a bit. It also makes me a bit sad, because the location of the viewing meetup I've been going to will probably have to change now. We had been meeting in a gaming store which happened to have a TV and a couple couches available, as well as The Hub on their cable service. But they usually have various game tournaments happening in the afternoons...
Well if that doesn't throw a rock into my Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000! Being a nocturnal cave-dwelling creature, I usually made watching the new episodes of MLP:FiM the very last thing that I did before I retired back to my dark pit to slumber on Saturdays. That's why my revered/reviled MLP:FiM Season 2 episode discussion text-walls often hit the
MLP:FiM Season 2 Discussion thread very early the next day on Sunday mornings-- it gave me plenty of time to watch the new episode on Saturday morning, sleep and dream about Cheerilee during the day, and then meticulously pick apart, dissect, and otherwise over-analyze the episodes for anywhere between 5-8 hours on Saturday night/Sunday morning (because it's not like I have a life or anything better to do). Now this puts ponies right smack dab in the middle of my sleepy time! Even worse, on Saturday nights when I had Lake Area Furry Friends (LAFF) Bowling meets, I used to enjoy discussing that morning's new episode with all of the other bronies that were there. Now I'll have to plug my ears when I go because I won't have seen the new ponies yet!
Curse you, day-walkers! You have taken yet another one of my beloved shows and placed it during the time when that horrible yellow-burning disc blazes overhead! It's a good thing that TBS still plays the sitcom
Married... With Children from 4AM-5:30AM every morning, or else I might have to rouse my fellow creatures of the night and stage an anti-daytime television revolt!
