Ughh...i spent so long on this thing....all the little dots. Its just been sitting around for weeks, but i finally decided to finish it a few days ago.
Its a species i created last year....enteiopullious. I have also changed them a bit...because i did not like how they use to look one bit.

Very well detailed, simply put as beutiful.

Not bad. Stapple is a fun and prefered technique of mine. The snout is interesting, and the feathers are a nice touch, altough only afew quills make it look unhealthy it still kept a graceful flow over the skull. You could do more with your stapple and I can tell it was rushed. Dont be afraid to get some black in there Sarah, especialy when shading. Deepen the outer edges with alot more stapple so it gives a bold breakup of the tones and lines. Great job!

I hated doing Pointilism in school and I have to congradulate you on your patience for getting that much done. '<img'> When I had to do that type of artwork in school, I kept it to fruits so I could get away with extra large dots. Still, s'very good '<img'>

Very, VERY well done, Zarathus! I'm impressed. I have only seen that once before, but I haven't looked at tons of artwork of late either but I asked someone that I truly admired her skills to put into my very new sketchbook in 2000 and she did the dot thing. Turned out FANTASTIC and I know it took her a spell to finish it as well. I think that is a great technigue!

I like this one Zarathus.  I looked at it from several different emotional angles... it seems thoughtful and calculating in one way and then playful and happy if you look at it as though it were balancing itself on the one showing clawed foot.  Nice work!
