My Khristmas morning is off to a slow start... The four-year-old isn't awake yet. But, we have the Beach Boys' Khristmas album playing, and the presents look lovely under the tree. We waited to put them there until this morning, as I didn't want to tempt either of the Shelties (who like chewing boxes and ripping paper) or mischievous kittens (who like destroying anything they can get their claws on). While we wait for the child to wake up so we can open our stockings, my sister and I are going to start some French toast.
