I love the rain, as long as it's not freezing cold out. I like to sit out on the porch and watch it rain in the evenings, I even enjoy riding in it on the scoot. 'Bout the only time I don't enjoy it is having to drive in it at night- the eyes ability to quickly adjust to light and glare is unfortunately one of the first things you lose when you reach the middle age bracket     ':dead:'

I do like watching the rain and listening to the sound of it.

Being out in the rain is a different story. I do not like getting wet. The only time I find it enjoyable is when it is absolutely pouring down, enough to get one thoroughly sodden. Then it becomes fun. But being half-soaked or just damp...that's just plain uncomfortable.

I only don't like the rain in two cases.  The first is when it's a downpour, and the second is when I have to walk somewhere with my laptop.  Other than that, I think it's nice when it rains.

I don't like the rain when there's severe thunderstorms, etc.  Usually, this means I have to unplug my comp (even though I have a heavy duty surge protector), wait for the storms to get over, plug everything back in, and then I can get back to doing what I like best.......visiting Furtopia!  '<img'>

Count me in as an absolute rain lover! Especially walks in it, with a mate. *mrrrrs*

I love water in any form. If I wsn't a Gryphon I'd pprobbably be a hippocampus or something XD. Rain Rain come and stay and never go away for another day. I love rain and being out in it and this morning I was out there when it was mostly mist rain in my sandals and short sleeve shirt (this is cold rain so I am at least smart enough to know when to get out)

I like rain too.  I've been known to go out jogging in it, and it's sure fun to watch nad listen to.

Just not when you're camping.  Wet camping is not a good thing.  Especially in north-Wales in the middle of February.  That was a horrible experience lasty time I did it.  Which is why I have said never again to it.

Love the rain but it has to have the lightening and thunder along with it, or some sort of storm.

I can't stand rain unless it's at least 80 degrees out... And here in Seattle that doesn't exactly happen very often. ':p' I'll take 95 and sunny over 50 and rainy ANY day.

I love rain, even in hurricanes. While it's irritating that it may knock out electricity, it's one of the few things I like about Southern Mississippi.

I prefer the rains in Alaska to the ones here in MS.. atleast there it doesnt seem to raise the temp 100 degrees afterward.

S'a good point. Humidity isn't fun. Haven't been to Alaska, but heard that it's great from a friend who has.
Oh.

I love the summer rain. It makes me calm san realxed. I really like the long thunder storms where it rains so hard you can't see 2 feet in front of you. It' s just relaxing to me.

I like tornadic storms. I get out a camera afterwards and take pictures of everything. I hate the damage it does to homes though. We had one a few years ago and two horses from a rancher here got carried off. They never found them. '<img'>
But the best thing about storms is after the storm, when the sun peeks out and it smells wonderful and you see rainbows.
Has anyone seen multiple rainbows??

As long as it's not freezing I love the rain.  My favorite is a warm downpour that is just like standing in the shower.

I love the rain, I love the thunder, I love the lightning.

People think I'm crazy because, if it starts raining and I need to go somewhere, I will walk to the car or wherever in the rain.

only 2 exceptions, if I am dressed nice to go somewhere or if it is outright pouring.

I feel about the same way as Lascivus but in addition I will go into the really bad storms and chase them. In Washington this is pretty much pointless to do, but in monsoon season in AZ where I used to live it was a lot of fun. Just gotta watch out for flash flooding, that can get bad as I have found many cars in washes the day after. ''

I'm at my happiest when it's raining. Water makes me feel good, that's why I savor every moment when I'm showering and look forward to every rainstorm.

I never understood the concept that rainy days are gloomy, it has always been the opposite to me.
