Go Wings *cheer*

I actually have never played ice hockey... but for a few years played street as a goalie, and I was actually pretty good.

Yeah really, anyone in Michigan who dosen't like the wings is a heretic.  '<img'> '<img'> '<img'>

Some stupid goverment dude decided to make my school into a Sports Comprehensive and fource us all to do a minimum of 3 hours P.E a week.
I'm not that sporty, I can run when I have to and do some of the complex gymnastics and trampolining moves (helps to be small and bendy) but thats about it.
My favourite sports are probably Gymnastics and Basketball though.

I enjoy playing any sport with friends, but I get annoyed by professional sports.  Too many people putting too much love and time into a group of men who get paid bajillions of dollars for playing a simple game (and still find time to whine about not getting paid enough).

Me loves Polo. Had a team an my HS in grade 12 (come to think of it, we had a lot of odd sports)

Next would have to be any swimming sport

Then, for practical sports, Volleyball!!! I love volleyball. It's how I keep myself in shape '<img'>

And, of course... HOCKEY! I love it. '<img'>

I went for 'other'.
I Kiteboard.... alot. For those furs that don't know what it is ill tell ya quick in short :
Basicly you get an insanely large kite (im talking around 5-6M long) attach that to a harness you wear and jump on a wakeboard typething and go onto the sea in high winds, you can get some CRAZY air if you do it right.
You can also do you some other pretty neat things with these power kites on land, like using the kites power to jump 10 - 15M into the air and land safely. Then theres skidding, getting the kite to pull you on your feet (like skiing), in a right wind i can get up to around 40 kph and theres kite buggying, using the kite to pull you in a 3 wheeled buggy at tremendous speeds '<img'>
At the moment ive got a pretty small kite ( 4-line 4.8M) but im planning for a bigger one ( hopefully 8M) though my uncle who got me into the whole thing has an ALMIGHTY one ... 20M! Thats not a kite , its like a damn plane!
One dangerous thing about these things is that the lines are under crazy stresses, they have a break tension of a couple tons and in strong winds they are like cheese wire, ive heard/seen some horrible accidents of people getting hit by the line so you really gotta watch what your doing!

Oh yeah i also play roller hockey '<img'>

I don't pay much attention to sports. Although it was great seeing the Green Bay Packers win the Super Bowl again a few years ago. After 30 long years since the first Super Bowl, they definately needed it.  GO BRETT FAVRE!!!!   '<img'>

Well, in terms of watching a sport I really like watching the world track and field meets. Seeing how fast and how long they can run is just amazing to me, moreso considering I was in track and cross country for 4 years.

My favorite to actually play though would have to be soccer. Lots of running, endurance, and kicking people  '<img'> Not on purpose of course, but it can become very violent. If I had any real skill in controlling a ball I would probably try to join the local soccer team.

EDIT: haha...I just read through the whole thread and realized I already replied to this. THought it was a new thread  '' At least my answer was the same though '<img'>

I'm a hockey hoser, eh?  '<img'>

Since I'm from Michigan, I almost have to be.  The Detroit Red Wings have the most loyal fans of the entire NHL.

Yeah, most people up here are fanatic about the red wings as well. However, when it comes to football most people root for Green Bay and forget all about Detroit. That's the only sport where they turn traitor though. Detroit Tigers are still popular even though they are probably the worst baseball team ever IMO '<img'>

I like playing rugby and football, horse-riding and swimming. But I don't watch sport on telly, I find it boring.

I don't like any sports... none of them seem to have an appeal to me for whatever reason.  Dunno, just have never bothered with them or liked them.   '<img'>
