I'm doing reasearch on face reading, emotion reading and body language reading. it'll be quite interesting to almost know what people are thinking just by carefully observing them. anyone else ever try stuff like this?

I had to learn this as part of a sales course I took.  It is very interesting the cues you can learn to pick up on.  It has really helped me too.  I am not the quickest at picking up on the verbal cues people sometimes send out but I pick up the visual ones alot. (now that I know what to look for)

I took a test somewhere on this great internet that stated I was a visual thinker.  I think it was right.  '<img'>

My face seems so unaffected, even when I am excited, happy, sad, depressed, etc. Recognizing my thoughts through my facial gestures would be a terrible challenge, I imagine.

I would like to have a tail to show what I'm feeling. Having a tail would be a delightful way of showing my emotions off. How are my friendly furry friends going to know if I'm happy to see them when my facial expression is gestureless? My tail would probably wag naturally when I'm happy to see them. I wouldn't have to think about what my face looks like to satisfy others. Wouldn't a tail be a pleasant feature to have?

Body reading has always been interesting to me. Because unless a person is always on guard there will always be one thing denoting how they're feeling and even what they may do given the enviroment. Would be intrigued to study it more than I have.

When I st was learning to be around horses I learned to read thier body language since a horse will tell you everything hes doing. They always have a running dialog. People do too. Ive learned to read my family by this and know whats going on alot. Its hard to read others since everyone expresses themselves differently.. tho If you learn one person chances are you can also read the same movements and gestures in that persons family as well.

People are just like animals in that we show our emotions with more than just what we say. Reading body language gives you an upperhand when dealing with both- with animals or people it can keep you from getting bitten. When you watch someone walk up you can get an idea how they are going to verbally approach you, if they're stiff and in a hurry then more than likely they're angry and/or excited. Quick and jerky body motions also indicate tension. A slower relaxed approach, with thier eyes looking around, and they're in a calmer mood.
In dealing with sick people for a living, I've learned to read people so that I can give them the "kid-glove" touch when needed. It makes the day go by easier and I find it facinating to learn a little more from each encounter.

I can pretty easily read people's facial and body expressions.  Just something that comes to me.

However, I'm a lot like Dexter in the way that my own facial expressions rarely change (unless I want them to), making me kind of hard to "read".

I went out with a guy who took journilisim, so body reading was something that was part of the course he took.  They even had a poilice man come in at talk to them about body language/lie detecting....and it must have been good because this guy ALWAYS knew when I was lying.
(little white lies here people, I'm not bad girlfriend or anything).
