« on: October 06, 2013, 01:02:03 am »
hey, everyone. I was wondering if anyone here is into Jazz music? or big band/swing? as far as I know, there's no FA group for Jazz/big band/swing. and if anyone here plays it, speak up! cos I'm thinking of taking up trumpet lessons to play jazz! x3

Wayne Shorter, Roy Hargrove, Stan Getz, Art Blakey.... and MANY more! Played guitar in a jazz group many years ago.

Big band and jazz are some of my favourites. I enjoy quite a bit from both genres.  As far as musical talent goes I can sing and play a little bit of piano but that's about it. Every once and a while I will hop on a 1MC with a tube amp and sing a few songs.

Trumpet is a good thing to learn. Follow your dreams! ;3

Haha. Not really a dream. More so of a hobby I wanna try. I also wanna try the saxophone. That seems to be more used in jazz and swing.
