So we have either mindlessly killing things or jumping around to flashing lights and obnoxious music?

Both sound equaly moronic to me...so I dont really see such argument!

I know I find it enjoyable as I enjoy musik (intentional mispelling (unintentional misspelling)) I enjoy the opportunity to get to dance to it. Good music, shiny lights, and mindless instruction on what to do so I don't have to think for myself. I come up with different steps, and my friends and I all act goofy while doing so. It's just DIFFERENT!

Good for the one legged guy! That's persistance! I tried DDR on the home version but I stopped for fear of breaking my friends dance pad, lol. I enjoy rave dancing (like at FC! Whoo!

DDR is a fun game. It involves jumping and stomping and happy music.

It costs money though, so i dont like it that much.

I tried DDR once at a local arcade/lasertag place. Being the dork that I am, and having no dancing experience whatsoever, I made a fool of myself. ':blush:'

however, for those people who are actually good at it, I can see how it might get to be addicting after a while.

Believe it or not, I have no interest in DDR. I don't get it, and I'd feel wierd dancing around with people near...watching...

I must say it is good exsercise, because it even has a setting where you can count the weight your loosing. I'm thinking of borrowing my friends seeing this winter I've put a bit o rat pudge on....LOL. Dang hibernation.

DDR is indeed a very fun game and a good way to lose weight. I can't do it like I used to due to a screwed up knee. Its a pretty addictive thing and its one of the few times I didn't get embarassed having people watching me do something.

I don't think theres anything bad about DDR. I have seen 50+ year old grandparents play it. (veeeeeeeeeeeery slowly..)

I'd rather see kids play DDR than have them play police and hunting shooting gallery type games that have replica plastic handguns and rifles.

But they need to bring back PINBALL to the arcades...!

As for me, I haven't played it. I'm too afraid of looking like an idiot at the mall, lol. But I have friends that are obsessed and they aren't furs, at least not that I know of.

I know this one. I've worked it out.

Most people see DDR as a girls game, so many males don't play it. But because of furrys open mindedness, they don't see that. And it's a fun addictive game, too.

Despite the correlation between furries and DDR, DDR is a game for everyone. The only people I know that hate it are either people who have never played before or people who have played a few times, failed, and said "dis game sux".

I'm a big nerd about my DDR life--which includes tracking scores and AAing 10s. But non-furries are also into it, and as I said before, it's a game for anyone who wants to get into it.

I love DDR but I havenâ€™t been able to get past standard yet. I own the game and we have one in the student union at school. I have to say it is just an awesome game for everyone and thatâ€™s all there is to it.

As to why so many furrys like it I can only hypothesize that it is because either the combination of techno and dancing, or that it is because we are geeks. Either way its fun.

I've never played DDR although I've seen some friends play it and they're crazy at it. Most of the time I don't get a chance to because other people are always on it.
