Shrimp Dishes = <3

Garlic-soy shrimp over a bed of mixed greens, served with mushroom risotto. My recipe isn't exact as I tend to season stuff to my tastes and I don't particularly measure things at home. Forgive the plating sloppiness, I was hungry. :p

Shrimp;
1 pound of large shrimp(de-veined obviously, lol)
1 Garlic Bulb(or less
1 teaspoon of paprika
1 tablespoon of soysauce
salt and pepper to taste

Mushroom Risotto:
1lb if Aborio Rice
1 cup of White Wine
1 large Onion(white or brown)
6 Cups of Chix Stock(or whatever stock you prefer to sub)
1 lb of Shitake and Crimini mushrooms
1 Cup of Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup of Gruyere Cheese
1/4 of a stick of (cold)butter cubed

For the Risotto this website has a pretty good tutorial.

For the Shrimp:
I mixed the ingredients and let it sit in the fridge whiles I was setting up my mise en place for the risotto, about 40 mins to an hour. I then melted some butter in a hot pan and sauteed the shrimp until done.
I prefer to describe my profession as that of a "Contemporary Anthropological Interactive Observer", because it has just the right amount of flair. Besides, "stalker" is such an ugly word.-unknown

I might try this recipe sometime. It sounds really good! I like risotto if it's done right :).

Grilled, brushed with garlic butter. If I need to cook a bunch, I'll make an aluminum foil boat, ad the shrimp, garlic, butter, and Old Bay spice.
