Good to hear you plan to do it. Can't hurt anything to do it, and who doesn't like a chance to show off some of their hard work?

Continuing from Post 349 on Page 14 of this thread........I went to the EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) with another modeling friend today. It was good to go back there as I hadn't been to the EAA museum since I was 8 or 9. The event I went to wasn't a contest, but rather a bunch of modelers bringing their built aviation and other kits to display and talk to kids about modeling and help get them interested in aviation, etc. It was a pretty good event. A bit short, but good nonetheless. Anyway, here's the pics I took if anyone is interested. See if you can guess which pics are of plastic model kits, and which ones are models built entirely out of paper. Even I had a tough time telling them apart. I did take some pics of various museum aircraft, but not as much as I had hoped since my camera battery was dying. Enjoy. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v216/icyhusky/EAAmodeldisplay422011/

So Kobuk, you enjoy green tea yes? Have you tried the new green tea from Brisk in honor of The Green Lantern?
Also will you be seeing the movie in theaters?

1. Nope. Never tried the Brisk flavor yet. 2. Maybe I'll buy it on DVD and watch it.

*steps up to podium and begins to give an announcement*
Ahem.
While it's been great having and wearing my green and white husky fursuit that I got from Lacy about 5 years ago, I now feel that the time has come to retire the suit. While I have had a lot of good times wearing it, There have been some fit and design issues which have been nagging me over the years, and I feel that I want to get a newer style of suit rather than just try and rework/alter/update my old style suit. I simply want to start over from scratch. Therefor, my current old Kobuk husky suit will now be 99.99% retired. Why only 99% ? Well, It is possible that until I get a new suit (Hopefully in 2013), I may have to drag the old critter back out of the closet at some point "just in case" I may need it.
So it is with a sad farewell that I say that my old suit is going bye-bye. To those who saw him at AC2011, I hope you enjoyed seeing him around, getting a hug, and getting a pic.

I love Don't Hug Cacti but I haven't heard of the others (then again I didn't even know about furry till a few weeks ago). I can't wait to see who you choose and what the new suit will look like!

Alas, I never got to hug the illustrious Kobuk 1.0 before his retirement. This is exciting, though! A chance for a new start! By the way, I note that you never said you were going to get another husky suit. Perhaps you would consider becoming a dewrabbit?

I can't wait to see who you choose and what the new suit will look like! I'm still in the early development stage and have been writing notes since yesterday. Though I will say that I hope to have electronics and/or glowy things added to the new suit.
And, there might be a special electronic/glowy "surprise" too. Not added to the suit, but something I'll be carrying. Alas, I never got to hug the illustrious Kobuk 1.0 before his retirement. This is exciting, though! A chance for a new start! By the way, I note that you never said you were going to get another husky suit. Perhaps you would consider becoming a dewrabbit? You seriously need to make it to AC, Arb. *uses Jedi hand wave on you* Maybe you should be a Dew rabbit?

This can be a fresh start for you! Think of the possibilities! Join the herbivore side! And yeah... one of these days I do really need to make it to AC and see all you guys. *sigh*

So Kobuk, what are the chances you'll be donating that old suit to my furtopia history museum? I've been working hard on expanding the staff wing. I need your suit, Arbutus' traveling coat, i already have a pair of glasses our resident master of cunning used to formulate plans, a wax statue of Blast, and WS first computer.

Until I get my new husky suit, It's possible, though slim, I might be getting a new coyote partial. It'll be realistic with taxidermy eyes, jawset, etc. and will be just the head, hands, and tail. AC2013's theme is "The Furry Illuminati" and my coyote concept will fit in nicely with that theme.
