"One Dot Below The I" #2: three more poems
« on: March 12, 2017, 04:26:11 pm »
Here are three more really short poems about the moment of "now"

The moment of loss
The moment of death
The moment of poetry

okay, so it's not exactly furry,
and I can't even pass it off as therian writing
and it's free-form
and it's SFW

- but I hope you like it anyway.

AND HEREíS AN OLD MAN WEARING SUNGLASSES
AND A GIRL IN A PLASTIC RAINCOAT WITH A HOOD
HERE IS THE MAN WITH THE SUNGLASSES NOW WITH HIS CANE
AND THE GIRL IN THE RAINCOAT, NOW FADING
AND HEREíS YOUR OLD FATHER BENEATH THE TREES
AND YOUR LOVERíS FACE WASHED AWAY BY THE RAIN

I FEEL
Ė YOU KNOW WHAT ITíS LIKE. DONíT YOU?
I HAVE MY MEMORIES, MY FILM, MY IMAGES, MY MONITOR
BUT WHERE DID HOME, WARMTH AND MY LUNGS GO, MOTHER?
ALL MY STRENGHS HAVE FAILED ME SO HOLD MY HAND
I DONíT FEEL AT HOME IN THIS MOMENT
NOT AT ALL
