The SCFY channel put out lots of really bad shows in the 90's. Glad you were able to find the one you were searching for.
I found it ! another friend figured it out its

Space Rangers

one of those shows thats so bad its good

Link for those curious

Thanks :)
Doesn't sound like FarScape. Not a big TV person, but it sounds interesting.
I have a memory of watching a sci fi either film or tv show back in the 90s  (maybe 00s) on the sci fi channel.

All i can really remember is it was on some sort of space station, a new guy is getting introduced to his new team.

One member is a tall (alien?) who looks angry and I think hits the wall next to the new guy when the leader shows up

and says something like "and he wasn't even wearing his collar". He is then handed a collar which he puts on

The female team member is found somewhere else and I think she was doing some kind of martial arts computer game against someone and people were betting on it?

I think she and her opponent were on like pedestals on either end of a pit and in the pit were virtual versions of them and they were doing kicks on their platforms and their avatars were doing the moves.
and people were betting on it?

I know this is kinda vague (and its not any of the big ones like stargate or farscape etc etc).

any help is apriciated!!!

My first ever attempt at making cinnamon swirl bread. The bread itself is great. The swirl is more like a question mark.  :D  What I did was roll the dough out to about 3/4 of an inch. Slathered on the cinnamon mix and roll it back up. What I ended up with is lots of well risen bread will a bit of a swirl.  What I'll do today is make another batch of dough. Roll this batch out thin.  Slather on the cinnamon mix and have a bread with a real spiral.

What happened to my first attempt was I forgot about the dough expanding. So when the 3/4 inch thick roll was done there was a good inch and a half of bread separating the cinnamon.  It still has a great flavor. More like an adult version of a cinnamon bun. Not overly sweet. Rolling the dough out thinner will allow for more cinnamon and sugar and a sweeter bread.

Some bread experiments I'm going to try.  I'm going to replace a cup or two of the bread flour with different grains to get different flavors. I've got barley flour. Will have to travel east to get wheat and rye. My idea is to use these flours when making free formed breads. Those big round, oblong and braided loaves. That way they wont just be cool looking white bread.

I've done some looking around on line. The good news is other people have tried this with great results. I've learned that I can replace up to 25% of the total bread flour with non gluten forming grains. And up to 50% when using whole wheat flour. AWESOME!

Thanks for posting. :orbunny:

We are pretty open on the subject, be it furry or not.
It would be appreciated if you would say if the subject
isn't furry when you post the link.

The second frozen then thawed loaf. Really good! Same great taste and texture. The crust is a bit more flaky but doesn't in anyway take away from the bread.

Made four more loaves today. All four from my modified Shaker recipe. Two loaves I rolled out and make cinnamon swirl bread. Turned out really good.

Because I modified the recipe I can now call it my own.

Rat Bread.

1 package dry yeast.
1 1/4 cup warm water.
1 cup warm milk
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons shortening. At room temperature.
Up to 7 cups bread flour.  I only use 6 1/2 but your conditions may very.

Two bread loaf pans well oiled. your choice. I use olive oil but any cooking oil will do.

In a bowel or stand up mixer. Add your warm water, sugar and yeast. Add one cup of the bread flour. Mix and lest stand for up to 10 minutes. Add milk and shortening. Stir or mix well. Add salt. Add remaining flour 1/2 cup at a time.
Knead for a good 8 to 10 minutes on a floured surface. Dough should stretch when pulled and be smooth to the touch.
Grease a large bowel. Place dough ball in bowel. Turning it to get the oil on the top of the ball as well.
Cover bowel with plastic wrap and let dough sit and rise for 1 hour.
After 1 hour deflate the dough. Knead a few times to get all the gasses out. Divide dough into two equal portions. Knead and press dough to fit bottom of bread pans.
Cover pans with plastic wrap and let rise for 1 hour.
Twenty minutes before the final rise is done pre heat your oven to 350.
Bake for 40 minutes
Cool out of pans on a bakers rack or heavy towel. You can tell the bread is done by tapping the bottom of the loaf. If it sounds hollow it's good. If not place back in pans and cook for another 5 minutes. Try again.
Let cool for a good 2 hours before slicing with a serrated knife.

I pretty much like everything in the poll except for caramel and butterscotch toppings, and chopped nuts. I also pretty much stick to only chocolate, vanillia, or strawberry ice cream. Mint or mint chocolate chip might be ok, but I very rarely ever have it.

Trump day 302
Today marks a year since I started this thread. To point out what our
friendly or unfriendly politicans. It depends on who you are. If you have
a job that pays enough to have a decent lifestyle? You might feel the GOP
and Trump are doing ok. If your poor and working two jobs to make ends
meet it's not likely your are happy with how things are.

Now the GOP and Trump want to give the super rich a huge tax cut on
the backs of the working poor and middle class. If you voted for them,
you likely were coned  into believing they cared about you. The GOP
and Trump are out to protect their pocket book not yours. .

The GOP talks about how much they want to reduce welfare, but turn
around and give the rich and big corporations welfare with big tax cuts.
Small businesses rarely ever get this kind of welfare. They don't have
enough money to  buy tax cuts  like the super rich does.

Trump and the GOP clame the economy needs these tax cuts to grow
and make jobs. Well unemployment is at record lows, The stockmarket
is at record highs. Big buisness has record amounts of money in their
coffers. The economy has been growing for the past 8 plus years.  All
this and they still clame we must cut taxes to help big busiess and
the economy.  Their TAX CUTS are about making the super rich
happy. People who have spent millions and millions of dollars to get
them  elected. One billionaire has spent almost 90 million to get
the GOP and Trump elected.

The religious right is supporting the GOP and Trump, even with their
immorality. Why?  Because they say they must get rid of abortion and
homosexuality. Not to help the poor and disadvantaged as the Christian
religion teaches.  Their  leadership says we must get rid of abortion and
homosexuality or the country will die. Well it's more about the power
and money their leaders want. They are using their followers for this

Most won't likely want to believe they are being used. Some of their
followers have killed doctors and women thinking they must  protect
the unborn. Others  refuse to give homosexuals the proper respect
they deserve, thinking GOD wants them to oppose those who don't
follow their beliefs.  This leads to divisions across  the country. A favorite
tactic of authoritarians like Trump.

We can only hope for the good of all Americans and the country,
the majority of Americans will stand up and hold the GOP and Trump
accountable.  If they don't  many people will suffer, and may lead
to violence in the future.

The Great depressian of the 1930's almost turned the country
to communism, or socialism FDR pulled the country away from
such extremes by giving aid to those who needed it the most.
The GOP was against giving aid to the poor even then, and would
return us to the days with people begging and dispaire that could
drive us to being a socialist state.

The GOP believes in putting people in prison, even when their
ideas drive some people to crime. We already have more people
than any other country behind bars. It's time we change our
ways of dealing with people. Or we will be building more and
more prisons. With it costing close to  $50,000 a year to keep
people in prison. Just more state welfare in reality. Why not spend
that money to train and educate people out of criminal activiey?
That would likely do a lot to grow the economy, instead of pulling i
t down..

After a year of this and vision failing I don't plan to continue my
daily posts on politics. Instead I will post perhaps weekly or when
there is something big to report on. Thanks for reading.
