gaming discussion / Sonic Forces

I've been through about 20 levels and I really like this game for the Nintendo Switch. When I first played it the storyline was reminiscent of Archie Sonic or SatAM with notably darker themes and the ability to create a 'freedom fighter' of your very own. As the story has progressed...well...
Spoiler: show reminds me of Sonic.exe or some other grimdark type of story, with the villain Infinite's ability to warp time and his odd perception of the world is revealed as an apocalyptic death trap

It's a lot of fun, and it reminds me of Sonic Adventure 2-meets Sonic Colors-meets Sonic Generations in its style.

Anyone here give it a go? I would think furries would like the chance to make a Sonic recolor/OC for real.  :P  :D
I'm looking forward to another furry meet at a local park, celebrating Thanksgiving with friends. I'm also getting a few furry themed items in preparation for FurCon2018!

Varg, thought you'd get a laugh from this one.  :D  :D  :D
Trumps lies never stop, even on holidays. He was bragging about how
he is changing the way we are fighting in Afghanistan even though little
has changed. It's all about training the local army to defend their country.

I wonder how our people there feel when the president embarrasses
them, because he won't accept the facts.. They can't bad mouth
Trump, but it's bound to affect moral.

If Trump cares so much for the military, why is he wanting to
privatize medical care for Veterans. This will likely leave many
without the care they need. Private industry is all about
profit, and people second. That is why regulations exist. To
protect those who can't protect them selves.

The GOP and Trump are still pushing for their big tax cut
for the rich. I find it odd that big business would support
tax cuts that will hurt the middle class. The very people
who they need to buy their products.  The rich doesn't
buy low end products. They buy high end stuff that only
supports a limited number of workers. Shows that some
rich people can't see beyond their bank account. If people
have a limited amount of spendable income they are going
pay to have food, gas, utilities, clothing first. Then if they
have anything left they buy a new car, TV, refrigerator, ect.

A N. Korean soldier ran a gauntlet of gunfire from his fellow
soldiers trying escape to S Korea. He fell on the S. Korean
side and was rescued by S. Korean soldiers, and taken to
a hospital with serious wounds. Hopefully he hasn't any
family left in N. Korea, because they would be imprisoned
or enslaved. It's sad how paranoid the N. Korean leadership
is. Given a chance N. Korea could have a strong economy
with a good life for the people instead of having to live in
desperate poverty. Then people wouldn't want to leave.

Just want to wish everyone here a Happy Thanksgiving! :) Have fun, but stay safe if traveling this holiday. And if your fursona is a turkey or deer, you may wish to hide somewhere before the hunters or carnivores get you. ;)  :D  :goldbloody:

This isn't exactly new news as this has been floating around news circles for months.'s always good to keep up to date with any recent developments. ;) I'm praying Net Neutrality doesn't die. But with the way Trump wants things, it may happen. :(
news forum / FCC plans to deregulatie Internet neutralization

Well Trump and the GOP are at it again. The FCC plans on
voting in mid december to deregulate the internet so big
buisness can charge users more to watch videos and sports
events. Not just for faster connections, but to set your data
rate according to your use. They could slow data for a video
stream to discurage people watching a sports or any video
feed of their choice.  To one their ISP prefers. Some may
already be doing this even though it's currently against FCC
rules. Soon it may be legal.

I think this is partly due to the large communications providers
not wanting to upgrade their data systems. By reducing data
needs they can put it off. Meanwhile millions of people in rural
areas have to live with slow internet if they even have it at all.

The big ISP venders tried to get this done in 2014, but due to
large protests, and Obama voting to keep the net
neutral it was stopped. Now they are back apparently
big buisness feels a big buisness friendly congress and
president will make it possible, and they may be right.
