I have my score on midi, and I need to add expressions and print.  I've used MidiNotate for this before, but it's such a horribly-engineered program that using it to print your score is almost counter-productive.  So I'm looking for a free program that will let you print out midis in sheet music and add expressions.  Anyone come across any good ones?

I don't know how well either of these programs print, BUT.

I've played around a bit with Finale before, and it's an all-right program. But more importantly, there's a demo version for free online, which is good if you're looking to save $$. Like I said, though, I was just playing around when I used it, so I don't know how its functionality measures up to that of the full program or to whatever it is you want to use it for.

There's also Sibelius, which, aside from having a rockin' namesake, is far the superior program IMO. Only problem is that the demo version doesn't let you save your work, so if you're looking for something free, that's out.

Edit: I may have misunderstood what you were looking for, but might as well leave this up anyway.

Anvil Studio is the bomb.
It's cheap as FREE!  And simple to use.  However, the plugin to print your MIDI as score costs.  But it's like $10 or something.

With this plugin, can you add dynamics symbols, etc?
