Hmmm, have I replied to this before? Video game music (in particular, remixes) I don't care for singing; only song I like is Still Alive, the portal credits song. Which was a Triumph.

Forgot to mention Needfire: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A83Cq_FY4pIThe song in the vid is When I Get There; not my favorite, but there's not a vid of my fave ( Ballad of Jason Jackson), apparently. I also enjoy (but can just barely play -badly) Middle Eastern Raia (Arabic/Turkish Groove),Esp. Cheb Khaled, and others whose names I cannot recall to save my posterior...

I'm mostly into Blues and Folk music because of all the accoustic guitars they use half the time. I also listen to a fair bit of street punk(IE Leftover Crack, Propagandhi, The Infested, Dirty Rotten Imbeciles is pretty cool too!) Lol and lets not forget Godflesh!
Middle eastern techno is also a favorite.

Godflesh is pretty cool. I have Streetcleaner and it's a good album, though I think I prefer Pitch Shifter's Industrial and Dead World's first album, whatever it's name is, a little bit as far as music like that goes.

I don't think there's any genre or style of music that I don't have in some form or another, but mostly my music library is packed with rock in its various types, mostly alt. rock, and orchestral soundtracks. Not sure which I have more of nowdays.
Although I've been too addicted to Sixx: A.M. lately to listen to my other stuff =>.>=

I seem to fit into the same nook here. I have very eclectic tastes. I love classical music (Bach, Beethoven, etc), Mowtown, Beatles, Tina Turner, Elton John, 80's bands too numerous to mention, Evanessence, Godsmack, Metallica (the good stuff pre St.Anger *bleh*) The Muppets and their soundtracks, Classic Video game music (Let's hear it for Castlevania 2 soundtrack!) Disney Songs, some top 40 stuff, Firelight, Journey, Phantom of the Opera, Scissor Sisters, Hoobstank, Filter... get the idea. Me likey lots of stuff. The only exceptions to my musical taste are bluegrass and rap. Both of which I cannot stand.

My favorite genres are: (melodic/brutal) death metal, (melodic) black metal, deathcore, metalcore, screamo, post-hardcore and various other metal. I'm also very eclectic so I can enjoy anything else outside of the metal genre as well; I just prefer metal over anything else. My favorite bands: 1. Meshuggah (post-technical thrash metal) 2. Rotting Christ ((melodic/gothic) black metal) 3. The Black Dahlia Murder (melodic death metal) 4. Bring Me The Horizon (metalcore) 5. Wolves In The Throne Room ((ambient) black metal) If you'd like, you can head over to my Last.FM to learn more: http://www.last.fm/user/TheresTheMike

I loves me a bit of everything. I kinda go on a song-by-song basis and don't try to stick to a particular genre. It's... it's slow going.
