I've noticed that if a post is edited soon after creation, it doesn't show an edit notice.  I'm testing to see how/how often this can happen.

This post has been edited 5 times.

I'm guessing it might be the case that this post can be edited without notice so long as it isn't viewed again.  Testing that now...

...Or not.  I think this might happen if the post is edited within a certain time frame after completion.

I always assumed it was time frame. On facebook, if you try to delete a post seconds after you posted it, it'll assume you just want to edit and go into an editing mode rather than delete it.

I edit things a lot, usually fixing grammar or spelling and such. And my experience is that it either is, or is close to 1 and a half minutes.

Confirmed, the earliest time stamp showed 1 and a half minutes after the post time, (Though it's no longer relevant since I added this last part, but it was 1 and a half minutes). Wink
