...with larger and higher resolution OLED displays that look absolutely beautiful... That's actually debatable. I tried out the Droid Razr which everyone raved about having such a great Super AMOLED display, and it looks like rubbish to me. The problem with those displays are they have an obtrusive green tint to them. Compare it to something like the Bionic's Super LCD screen (that I since traded the Razr for within a week) on Google's home page if you want to see for yourself. It gets worse as you dim the backlight too. I've heard of a new AMOLED display that's in the works with an actual white pixel that is supposed to fix that problem, but until then, I'm sticking with non-OLED displays.

Well, I guess everyone has their own opinions about them.

That's because when it comes to OLED's, it is extremely difficult for some reason to make ones with the correct wavelength of blue, particularly in terms of life span. Perhaps in order to cut costs or improve lifespan, they used ones that weren't quite ideal. Or beyond that, they were probably developing the current phone screens before some of the relatively recent breakthroughs in the technology (that allowed half the major TV manufacturers to show off production-ready OLED TV's at E3).

I had an iPhone 3GS and I loved it. Up until I plugged it into charge and it started smoking. No more Apple for me, I switched to Samsung, which is cheaper and some how works better.

My computer is a Mac Pro tower, but before that I had an iMac. I currently have an iPod touch with plans to get an iPhone and an iPad.
With my job I don't have time for computer failure. Time is money, and if I'm constantly adding this or tricking out that, I won't get anything done. I do add things as I need them as far as hardware and software. I've worked with PC and Mac and simply put, Apple works better for me. Nothing wrong with PC, it's just my choice. And no, I am not an Apple fangirl. I just use what my industry uses, and it happens to be awesome for me.
Yes, Apple products costs more, but that's because pretty much everything is set up for you to literally plug and go. While computer shopping I added up the costs of putting on a PC what comes standard with a Mac. For everything I needed, it actually was more expensive to get a PC.

No apples for me. In the early days I found them to be over priced, and one had to buy apple accessories for them. Monitors, drives, printers, ect. It's a wonder they didn't require apple floppies. The mac did start out using the 3 1/4" hard cased floppy which was new at the time.
They were fairly good computers though, and after playing catch up to the Amiga they have done very well with multimedia computing.
I found apple to be the least consumer friendly company then. Probably still is.
