Critiquing
« on: September 01, 2005, 10:44:15 pm »
I know that if I ask for Constructive Critiquing when I post my art here, I'm likely to get some helpful pointers. I'm curious if anyone else here has other places they could point me for such things? Afterall the more critiques, the better.

I'm seeking to grow with my art and hopefully (eventually) get to the point of being commissionable.

Thanks for your time.

If you'll help poke me a bit, I'll be glad to help in any way I can. ;.; I find the 'redline' technique to be very helpful, myself.

You should post your artwork more often in your LJ. I'm sure you do, I guess I'm just a space case and never catch it. ;.;

Some furry forums have a special section for critiques:
Artvark
Yerf

You could also check out some general art forums:
Wetcanvas.com (has a 'critique center' forum)
Conceptart.org (look for the crique center subforum under 'Sketches & WIP' )
Eatpoo (same location as conceptart.org)

I always try to help when asked. I know sometimes
it's easy to get into a bad habit if someone don't
point it out.

It would be nice if we could have a critique forum
here so we could post our art for that.

I am sure there are many places online with helpful
art critics..  Unfortuantly you have to deal with unhelpful
ones too.

My thoughts.
