Is there anyway to contact somone from DA
« on: August 01, 2005, 03:17:49 pm »
I've wanted a DA account for a while, but they'd blocked my ISP. When I got my laptop, and tried again, it 'let' me make an account. However, after I filled out the account form,  and clicked 'continue' it told me that I couldn't access this part of DA because I was banned. It may be that I am still using the SBC Yahoo DSL email address, I don't know.

So I went the help desk in an attempt to email them to see what was up and if there was anything they'd be willing to do. I filled out a help form and clicked 'send', but it promptly told me I need to be a member. Is there anyway to actually contact these people without being a member there?

Don't know, other than asking someone who is a member there to contact somebody DA for you.

Thanks for the help! I finally managed to emil a mod, and hey were kind enough to respond. They said about the only thing possible to do was to either wait for the ban to be lifted, or to get someone else to make an account and then hand over the user name and password. A friend on DA is doing that right now. She said it should work fine after I get control of it, so *hopefully* this'll solv the problem. Sheezy arts just too screwy right now to remain there.

EDIT: It worked! If anyone feels the need to see it, you can reach it throug the link in my siggy. I'm so glad I'm out of SA...
