Does anyone just so happen to know of any good websites with reference pictures of weasels / stoats / ermines, birds, and lizards? Thanks for your assistance, eh?

Your best bet (generally) is going to be Google Image search (or similar) for the animal you're looking for. That's generally what I do for my references. Keeping a saved file copy of any useful pics you find is also a good idea.

Kai took the words right out of my beak.

Google is a great resource when you want to find pictures of pretty much anything.  Many other search engines also have image searches, but google is still the best IMHO.

Also, keep a folder full of reference pictures on your hard drive.  My collection of these is quite large, I have to organize my downloaded pictures into different folders based on content.

You would think Google would be a good source but it isnt always.
In particular I'm looking for hi-rez pictures of furry tails to "anthropomorphize" some nudes I have shot, by using Photoshop. Can't find anything I can use.
Can I get some help out there?
I'd be glad to send the results to whoever can provide the reference images.
Really, any furry tailed animal, with tail up who work great.
Big cats would be ideal

It's not a website, but for great bird reference, I'd suggest a bird field guide, like the National Geographic Field Guide to the Birds of North America, or for bird photos, Kenn Kaufman's Birds of North America.
Fruitcake is a legitimate gender in my book.

Finding high-rez pictures is going to be a tough venture on the internet. I think your best bet would be to find someone who has a top of the line digital camera (one of the digital SLR-types like a Canon Rebel work well) and then get them to head to your local zoo.

Perhaps posting your request on the Photography section of this forum and to some photography forums might yield some results.
