Shading Advice
« on: October 20, 2004, 03:28:20 pm »
I've been struggling with how to shade my comic for a while, so I took it to the copier and did some experimenting on the copies.
I'd like some feedback on which version you like the best. Or, if you think none of them look good, tell me!

Plain, no shading:

Pen line shading:

Grey Marker shading:

I took all the dialogue out, cause it wouldn't make any sense with just these clips.

Thanks^^

While it does seem less comic-like, personally I like the grey marker thingy better.
Just my thoughts.

I think I like the grey marker the best, too, but in some instanced, the textured pen looks nicer...Maybe I could use both? Hm...

Thanks for your reply.
