« on: May 06, 2010, 04:06:29 pm »
Anyone on here voted/care to share?

Oppinions on the parties/their figureheads themselves?

What do you think the outcome'll be?

(This is probably the only election in which the lib dems will ever stand a fighting chance :P)

No one? Come on, I'm curious. ;)

I've been following the election returns from afar, but as an American I don't have the right to an opinion. :P

You summed up my position on the topic as well. I'd be interested in reading a discussion, but being American, really don't have the knowledge or right to comment.

I was hoping the Conservative party would do better.
Then again I just an American, it does make me glad we have a  two party system.
Have you ever noticed how US and UK presidents and Prime Minister track each other

Regan - Thatcher
Bush 41 - Major
Clinton  |
           |- Blair
Bush 43 |

Do Americans have coverage of the UK elections on TV? Would be funny if you don't, we in britland had whole sections devoted to the US one.

Anywho, I'm only 17, so obviously I wasn't allowed to vote. Even so I was really hoping the Liberal Democrats would do better, I like Nick Clegg.

Didn't get the reference at all, but to answer Lava's question, we did have a decent bit of coverage of the UK elections in the US press.  I don't watch much TV, but it was and still is being covered in the papers and news on the radio.
