Strawberry Sorbet

Strawberry and Pineapple Sorbet


2 cups of frozen strawberries
6 heaping teaspoons sugar
4 slices canned pineapple (drained)
3 to 4 cups of ice


1.   Cut strawberries into quarters.
2.   Drain canned pineapples and set juice aside.
3.   Place strawberries into blender along with ice, pineapples slices, pineapple juice and sugar.
4.   Turn blender on at high power.
5.   Remove lid and stir.
6.   Blend again until the mixture has no visible ice chunks.
7.   Pour into container and freeze until firm, but not ice-hard. (About 3 hours)
8.   Scoop out and place into cups.
9.   Garnish cups with pineapple ring quarters and serve.

Serves 4


I dug this recipe out from the seemingly bottomless pit of my computer hard drive.

I have made this recipe many times and have never had any problems.
