I chose a fox mainly because I just like it and it feels right to be one... It more or less matches my personality (manic, fast, happy, energetic, but shy, suspicious, and cunning at the same time) ...I know its overdone, but I don't care lolz!

Well my fursona is a pure white Husky with blue eyes and my fursona name is Kato or Kato_pup. :3 I would like to think that I chose a Husky when I was really little. I don't really remember how old I was but My mom use to have this dog book that broke down different breeds. I use to flip to the husky chapter and just gawk in amazement at the pictures of the beautiful Huskies. :3 It was one of the only pages (in any book for that matter) that I would read. I guess I have always had this love for Huskies. I have always felt this closeness with that particular breed but to this day, my mother never let me have one. What you should know is that my mom is animal crazy. I have had everything from cats, dogs, an umbrella cockatoo, two ball pythons, a billy goat (lasted 48 hours), ferrets...etc. Of all the crazy animals and different types of dogs I have ever had, she never let me get a husky. :(

I chose a pure white coat as apposed to a two toned color because a pure white husky is actually rare. Pure white coats on a husky is harder to find then any other coat color because it is a recessive trait.  When I go fursuit spotting online (basically admiring other furs super cool fursuits :3) I rarely see an all white husky fursuit...actually I have not seen a all white husky fursuit yet. :D I like to think that I am a rare catch. I like to think that I am not able to be duplicated. A deep part of me likes to be different, although sometimes I fail to be :P. I will say that I still second guess my choice in coat collar because an all white fursuit will be not only hard to keep clean and stains easily but also I am afraid it wont look like as much of a husky as a white fox or something or it will look to plain. Sometimes I think about maybe white and pink or white and gold brown, or white and blue. but I think I am gonna stick with pure white.

Lastly, I chose the name Kato from a list of dog names found online. I was just browsing the list and I came crossed Kato and it just felt right. I immediately decided that it was the one. Not only did it feel right but I found out that the name Kato is perfect specifically for a dog because it only has two syllables. Names with only two syllables are perfect for dogs because there easy for the dogs to remember and with that it is a lot easier to train them. Not like that matters.... :P . The name Kato is Latin for pure. I did not choose this name for such reason but I will say that I would like to think that I have a soft pure heart. I like the husky because I see a lot of myself either who I am or who I want to be.

Use to be known as padded_husky.

I always identified strongly with canines, but the whole pack mentality wasn't for me. I fooled around with a wolf fursona for a while, but again with the pack issues. I did some research, and found that jackals are very similar in many ways to wolves. Many of the mannerisms wolves and jackals display, I do. I enjoy the hunt, or the waiting game. I tend to be a little holier than thou, but I'm down to earth and keep my distance from most people. I have a very pragmatic view of the world, and will make no attempt to change it. I accept who I am,'even if others don't understand me (see jackals as scavengers)
Do I trust some and get fooled by phoniness?
Or do I trust nobody and live in loneliness?

My fursona has been the same since I was 10 - an albino housecat. Her accessories have changed over time but mostly just represent what I usually wear, ie a watch and a wristband. Other than that she's not all that spectacular.

I am a lion, because for me lions represent Nobility, regality, strength, ferociousness, boldness, wildness, divinity.

These things are in short supply short supply in real life especially in me. The lion lets me think in different terms.

christopher is on to something good, but personaly, I am a tiger, not because of what it repsents, but what it is.

I found my kinship with tigers because of the traits and life styles we share. Strength, toughness, brutality, merciless, a dieing breed, alone.

In short, my fursona maybe what I once was.

While reincarnation is something that I find difficult to believe, especially being a realist with a scientific mindset.
I can not deny knowing things that I never actually learned, and remembering things that could never have happened in my lifetime.
And that’s in addition to some of the strangest dreams that anyone could ever imagine.

I do not know the how or the why, but there’s definitely something to this, my memories just feel to real,

Of course who really knows, maybe I just got hit on the head to many times when I was young. :o (:

If I had to put it down on paper, I'd say that my fursona is a special facet, a persona of myself.

It's an outlet for me to express myself and it's a way for me to.... Sort of identify with
who I am inside. Besides my main fursona, all of my others are just alternate
personas I have for myself. They all mean something different, but they're all for
the same purpose.

My main fursona is a larger, more personal character, someone I easily could be and
someone that I easily am, my true self, at least in personality. A lot of people
would make their fursona their "ideal" self, but that's not what I set out to do.

Aaron, my fursona, has all of my virtues and nice traits, but he's also got all of
my flaws and problems. He's not my ideal self, he's more of my mirror, more true
to myself than I am true to myself. He's kind and loving and empathetic, but
he's not exactly a good person, either. He wants to be the best person, but
he's all too busy being cynical to everyone he sees, or meets.

To put it to a small point:

My fursona is an amplified me.

Basically, it's just a characture of me if I were an anthropomorphic animal. That's how I treat my fursona as, despite the fact my current sona looks absolutely nothing like me at all because the artist did not fully follow my bio information >_>

As for personality and everything else associated with it, my fursona and I share everything except we have a different name and orientation.

Well originally, I was a bat, but that was mostly because I liked them and it was long before I joined the fandom. Now I believe that fursonas should be just that. A furry character that personifies yourself. It should reflect who you are inside underneath all the onion layers we've built around ourselves in modern society. I had to do some serious soul searching to find my fursona and I'm happy with her.
But I also think that your fursona can change, just like people do over time. I'm not the same girl I was ten years ago, but since I can't change species to what I believe represents the real me, my fursona does. Of course that doesn't mean I'm going to change fursonas every 5 seconds. I probably won't change her for a long time, if ever, because my personality now is pretty cemented into place. I'm happy with who I am.
When  you feel that nobody loves you, nobody  cares for you, everybody is ignoring  you, and people are jealous of you. You should really stop and ask yourself… Am I Too Sexy?

Mylo is, well, me as an arctic fox.

You can say that he is my window into the furry world.
For me, there really is no deep meaning...Mylo is just my fursona.  But, with that fursona, I have a neat way of expressing my furriness online!  You get the freedom to experiment and imagine...online, I am the anthropomorphic arctic fox known as Mylo.

That is really the neat part of a fursona.

I have held my fursona for over 7 years since I was ten, and never once changed it. It's who and what I really am inside, so i don't really feel a need to change or anything.

He is the next step in my never ending story that is being written in my head. He is a key player in the story. He is to impersonate the darker side of humanity. He is still a good hearted man, but he is always entangled against the forces of good or the mass. In the end he would have died 3 times, and his final death would be the start of a war and the end of a nations corruption. He is supposed to resemble me. All his actions, I would most likely have done as well.

My fursona stems from my love of cats, but it goes a bit deeper then just that.

When I was little, my grandmother had a cat that I just adored. Of course, being a little kid, I would do these mean things thinking that it was ok, like pull that poor cats tail. I came to deeply regret my actions as I got older. When my grandmother died, the cat became very lonely, and we reconnected before we gave her away. Ever since then, I made a vow to respect all animals, especially cats. It seems silly, but ever since then, cats have flocked to me. Even cats that normally shy away from strangers come to let me pet them, or at the very least check me out.

I really admire the attitudes of cats, that kind of calm and cool that I try to emulate. A huge influence on my fursona is the Cheshire Cat from the Alice in Wonderland, cliche as it is. I absoltly love the trickster archetype, and its the best feline example of that. Plus, you got to love his exit!  :D

My fursona is a symbol of of rebellious actions and punk-rock music. He defies all loyalty and properness. You can find him underneath cities in the dark with the Skull Candy head phones.

Dogs are very important to me. Sometimes I do think there's some kind of spiritual thing going on. I'm a robotic dog because I tend to collect interactive toy dogs like Fur Real Friends and Zhu Zhu Puppies. I wanted to incorporate my love for these kinds of toys into my Fursona.
You humans need to refine, alter, corral codify and measure things yes? Very well. I shall use your wristwatch to count out ten of your seconds. I suggest you use that time to run. For at the end of it I shall come for you and I will catch you and we shall measure the duration of your death... In screams.

No one is calling you Emo, or Elmo, or anything else that starts with an E and ends with O.

I personally would have called you a lone wolf. I used to be that...

Like so many others, my fursona is basically me. Not counting the whole "different species" thing, the same look, same easygoing personality, same sense of humor, and so on.

Apart from finding foxes and coyotes quite BA, I'm a fan of the German Field Marshal Erwin Rommel, or as he was known, "The Desert Fox", and have used that as a username/callsign for multiple forums and airsoft. I gotta say, if I ever have to communicate over radio with other furries, it might take me a few tries to remember not to ID myself as "Fox", heh. For the coyote part, I was stalked by one in the Laurel Highlands last summer, which was interesting.

a meaning of my fursona....
my fursona is basically
a connection to death
to numb the heart of the vessal
as they pass through the void of pain
to find a more intimate connection with loneliness
is that a meaning?

My fursona's anthro form is pretty much just me as an animal. She's just a character to RP with and she doesn't *mean* that much to me.

Her quad form is much more interesting. She's kinda a representation of what I wanted to be as a child. I created the idea of myself as a dog at a very young age and she was really my means of escapism when stuff  got bad. As I got older I let go of the idea because imaginary friends were perceived as baby stuff, but finding the fandom lead me to eventually revisit the character, and define her further. Because symbolism is so important in my mindset, every detail of what she looks like and wears has significance to me.
