Furry Interviews!

Today's guest on Furry Interviewers is Elmer Fudd, the legendary hunter.  Elmer, you murderer, I'm sure you're excited about the upcoming deer season...

That's wight, hahahahaha...

Elmer, what gives with the speech impediment?  You can't pronounce "r's."  Why don't you get therapy for that?

What speech impediment?

Oh brother!  You probably think "denial" is a river in Egypt!  Well, Elmer, tell us about your nemesis, Bugs Bunny...

I'm gonna catch me that wascaly wabbit, and cook him in a pot!

No speech impediment, eh?  You'll catch Bugs when pigs fly!

(enter Porky Pig) Did someone say p-p-p-p-pig?

Oh, great!  Now I've got a stutterer!

(enter Sylvester Cat) Sufferin' Succotash!  A reunion!

(wiping spittle from face) Say it, Sylvester, don't spray it!

(enter Tweety Bird) Ooh!  I tawt I taw a puddy tat!

(Shakes head sadly) This is Fox, for the association of speech impaired 'toons, urging you to get help for all of your kits and cubs in need of speech support before they wind up like these poor 'toons here.  Give generously, and join us again on

Today on Furry Interviews, our guest is Mr. Peabody, the time-traveling dog from The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show, together with his pet boy, Sherman!

Say hello to the nice people, Sherman...

(Sherman) Hello! (waves)

Mr. Peabody, you are obviously a canine, and Sherman is, well, a boy.  This isn't some kind of kinky Michael Jackson thing, is it?

Heavens, no!  Sherman is my companion in time travel.  --Good boy, Sherman!  (pats him on head)

Mr. Peabody, we're intrigued at the idea of having a pet human.  What's it like?

Well, they can be taught tricks, and they do grow on you even though they look funny and smell bad if you don't keep them clean.

I'd be interested in trying a pet human, Mr. Peabody...

Excellent!  Well, I must run.  It's time for Sherman's appointment.

(Sherman) Oh boy!  I'm gonna be tutored!

That's NEUTERED, Sherman, neutered!

(Sherman) Aargh!

Well, you can't have them breeding all the time.  Plus, it should keep him from running off, and doing improper things with your leg.--Happy Thanksgiving, everyfur, and join us next week for Furry Interviews!   '<img'>

Today's guest on Furry Interviews is the Queen of the Underworld, Catwoman!  I'm thrilled to have you here, Catwoman!  I'm a long-term admirer of your skin-tight, black leather catsuit!

(purrs) Thank you, Fox!  It's very big with the S & M crowd!

Spaniards and Mexicans, huh?  Sometime we'll have to get together, and do some of the bilingual thing!  Catwoman, in the old Batman series and even more so in the later movie, the electricity really seems to fly between you and The Caped Crusader.  Did you have a thing going on with him?

Let's just say that I have a thing for guys in form-fitting black suits, Rrrrrr!

Catwoman, in a short-lived tv series on a minor network called Birds of Prey, the show's thesis was that Batman and yourself had a love child called Huntress, who had many of your characteristics, fought like a tiger, and could readily leap great distances. -- Was she real?

I'll never tell.  I don't want to get stuck supporting my kittens!

You minx, you!   Well, it would appear that you're not dead, as reported by that show...

Remember that I have nine lives, Rrrrrr!

And I'd volunteer to be your veterinarian any day, Catwoman!  I hope that we'll be seeing more of you!

Meow!  (licks self sensuously)

Join us again, furolks, for Fury Interviews!  (offers to scritch Catwoman)   '<img'>

Today's guest on Furry Interviews is Courage, the Cowardly Dog, together with his owners, Muriel and Eustice.  Welcome to the program!

Muriel:  Thank you so much!
Eustice:  Bah!
Courage:  Uh huh! (nods head and smiles)

Now, you guys live in the middle of Nowhere, which sounds like my home town.  Why, then, do you have so many creepy things going on?

Muriel:  Honestly, I don't know...
Eustice:  Muriel, I'm hungry!
Courage: (looks from one to the other)

(enter hideous demon) --YAAH!

Muriel:  Aaah!
Eustice:  Aaah!
Courage:  I'll save you, Muriel! (grabs owners and hoists them on his back.  Runs screaming from studio...)

Well, Mr. Demon, you seem to have interrupted my plans for today.  Sit down and spill your guts, so to speak...

Demon:  Aargh!

Oh, you want the studio of Buffy the Vampire Slayer!  That's three doors down on the right.

Demon:  Yaargh!  (exits)

Stupid twit!  Join us again, furends, on Furry Interviews!  '<img'>

Today's guest on Furry Interviews is Dudley Dooright of the Royal Canadian Mounties, and of course, his horse!  Dudley, so you claim to be from a fictitious country called, "Canada?"

Why, yes!  Canada is real!

(chuckles) Why, of course it is!  And I suppose you have strange holidays there, like "Boxing Day," and "Canada Day?"  What do you do on "Boxing Day," is it like "Mortal Combat?"

Why, no, and "Canada Day" is our 4th of July!

Like you needed one!  Tell us, Dudley, you're a Mountie.  Do you always, "get your man?"

Well, we try to...

Your sexual preferences are your own business, and I'm cool with that.  And what is it with you and your horse, while Nell is there, and obviously likes you a lot?

A Mountie's horse is his best friend!

Get a social life, Dudley!  Tell us, will you ever catch "Snydley Whiplash?"  He isn't exactly Lex Luthor..

One of these days, you may count on it!

Just keep it up in "Canada," OK, Duds?  Hey, do you happen to know Sergeant Preston of the Royal Canadian Mounties/

Why, yes!  A personal friend of mine!

Say hello to his dog, Yukon King, for us!  I grew up watching that show.  Well, thank you, Dudley.  You'd better go untie Nell from the train tracks now...

Oh my goodness! (mounts horse backwards, and rides off...)

Goodness is right!  What a boy scout!  Join us next time, furolks, on Furry Interviews!

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Disclaimer:  This network intends no disrespect to our good neighbors to the North, or to any Furtopia members who reside in "Canada."  To each their own fantasy.  Views of the host are not necessarily those of the network or the writer.  Please don't kill me...we may poke fun at other countries someday.  Canada is a cool place...we should all go there sometime! Thanks to our audience, and welcome again to Furry Interviews!  Today's guest is Lon Chaney, also known as The Wolfman.  Lon, welcome to the show!

Thank you.  (appears nervous)

Mr. Chaney, when I was a mere kit fox, the holy trinity for kids was Frankenstein, Dracula, and the Wolfman.  I also liked the Mummy a lot. -- Are you good to your Mummy, Mr. Chaney?  Do you call her?  Vistit her on Mummy's Day?

Err...yes.  (shows signs of agitation)

You seem a bit uncomfortable, Mr. Chaney. -- Would you care for some anti-anxiety medications?  A recreational drug, perhaps?  Some good old fashioned alcohol?

No, thank you...  (Sweats profusely and pulls on collar)

Mr. Chaney, I've always admired your work.  While the special effects were primitive by today's standards, you brought a special presence to your role, and had a wonderful look, that  haunting, hunted kind...

No...it's happening again...run away, please!  (tears at clothing)

I wouldn't dream of it! -- Don't fight the feeling, Mr. Chaney!  I was hoping that you would favor us with a transformation!

Oh no...the moon...uhh...ahh...arrgh! (begins transforming into wolf)

Oh yes, Mr. Chaney!-- Beautiful!  Go with it!  Show us the magic!

(in agony)-- Aarrgh!  (fully transformed, throws head back and howls, the cry filling the studio...)

Oh, yes! -- Magnificent, Mr. Chaney!  You rock, you rule!

Yarrgh!  (springs from seat, tears out cameraman's throat, and bolts through studio door...)

(applauding) Well done, Mr. Chaney!  We're green with envy!  So sorry that you can't hang around, but we understand.  "Better stay away from him...he'll rip your lungs out, Jim!"  Maybe we'll see you drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's?  Mutilate a little old lady for us, will you?  "'Tis a consummation devoutly to be wished," eh?  Join us next week on Furry Interviews!   '<img'>

Uh-oh!  Our regular programming has been interrupted by a Xmas special!  Well, let's get it over with, shall we?  It can't be any worse than the 35th airing of Rudolph.
* * * * * * * *  * * * * * *  * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *  The Gift of the Magi Vulpines
(with apologies to O. Henry, who's dead, anyways)

Frank Fox and Vivian Vixen loved each other very much, but they were poor, and so there was no money for Xmas presents.  Unwilling to let the holiday pass without a present for her, Frank sold his one possession of value, his PlayStation, to buy an Xbox game for Vivian.  Faced with the same dilemma, Vivian, acting independently, sold her one possession of value, her Xbox, to buy a PlayStation game for Frank!

On Xmas day, Frank and Vivian each presented one another with the games that they had bought that now neither could play.

"You sold your Xbox?," wondered Frank.  "I can't believe it!"

"You sold your PlayStation?," marveled Vivian.  "Well, I'll be hogtied!"

"You will?," rejoiced Frank.  "Oh boy!"

...and it was a great Xmas after all!   '<img'>

(The moral of our story:  On Xmas, the best gift is the gift of yourself, and wrappings are optional... '<img'>   )
