I remember the ads on tv for it.. Never bought one though.

Games in those days were mostly designed by programers, not artists
or writers. :P 

Those old games would be fun to play with. I actually found
some of them more fun than the ones we have now.

i feel that sometimes too :)

but wait they distroyed all the copies and dumped them their i doubt there will be any working copies.

If the wrapping on some is undamaged, then quite possibly i'd hope! ^-^

It's true some of those old games were a lot of fun, but not E.T.
That one was just terrible. Absolutely terrible.

theres an xbox documentary coming out on it soon i beleive, and it wasn't so much of a myth it was actually quite well documented that it happened. the ET carts make up a surprisingly small percentage of the overall "waste" its a jumble of all kinds of atari hardware and games
