Hi, Welcome to Furtopia! Feel free to introduce yourself on the furry greetings board.

Having a Fursona is not a requirements to being a furry but it is a fun thing to have. Think about what animals have similar traits to you or which animals you like or admire best.

I read through what you wrote and think you would either be a Cat or a Dog. Check below to see which one you are more similar to.

Let's quickly compare dogs and cats.
Dog: Eats food quickly like they are starving.
Cat: Eats food more slowly and they are associated with fish. Some cats hate fish though.
Dog: Can we go for a walk? Can we play?
Cat: Food, Food, Food? Attention please!
  Dog: Like all seasons.
Cat: Likes the sunny and warm seasons. Like's lying in a warm windowsill.
Alone of Social:
  Dog: Likes being social.
Cat: Craves attention when it wants it but likes to be left alone most of the time.
Dog: Loyal and can learn tricks. May fall for slight of hand easily.
Cat: Smart and they try to manipulate people.
Dog: loyal, happy, respectful, playful, excited.
  Cat: curious, inquisitive, calm.
  Dog: Yes please.
Cat: I would rather sleep, no thanks.
Person at the front door:
Dog: I must protect. Bark Bark Bork.
Cat: Meh, lays comfortably and does not move*
Dog: Maybe, I'm not so sure about this.
Cat: I love heights. I am superior.
Dog: I am loyal to those who love me.
Cat: Everyone should be loyal to me.

"Keitsu's" post is pretty good way to determine your fursona though there is also the option of just choosing what ever species/animal you like the looks of the most, and then choosing smaller details with the same method.

that's the way i got my fursona. pretty much just thought "this character looks cool" or "it would be nice to look this way irl." i didn't really make many decisions based on my personality when creating it (though a few things do happen to match up like being shy(fox), loyal (wolf), sorta brave(wolf), ect.)

though either way is fine, just do what ever your would be the happiest with. and like "keitsu" said you don't need a fursona to be a furry, just a random thing that could be fun to have in the fandom.

Hi animeperson20003, welcome to Furtopia!

If you would like to create a fursona, think of your favorite animals. Which ones do you like to be with the most? Which type of animal did you like as a kid?

Then, think of that animal as a type of you. What character traits would you use for that animal, and why?

Hope this info helps!

You should stick with an animal you'd enjoy being, regardless of their traits or yours, that doesn't matter, what matters is that you're happy and comfortable with it.

Like others have said, having a fursona isn't a prerequisite to being in the fandom; a lot of people have them for a variety of reasons. Some have one or several that they role-play as either online or in costume. Others prefer to have a fursona that they feel is a reflection of themselves. Both are good, and are equally valid.

From your list, I'd suggest dog, if you're going for the latter option. But then you'll need to work out what kind of dog!  (:

Whatever animal you choose, don't force a decision. One way to help you decide is to pay attention to your dreams - do you dream of being a particular animal at all? Another way is to meditate on it - can you imagine yourself as an animal, feeling what they feel, and doing what they do? Do these things align with your own personality and feelings?

Just a few of my thoughts on the subject, feel free to take them or leave them.

I would say take your time. A fursuit is a big investment if you decide to
get one to match a fursona..

I chose the Rabbit as I have always been a fan of Rabbit characters in
comics, stories, cartoons and movies. I also like other animal characters like
foxes, raccoons, skunks, and others. I generally like the smaller
species , but that's just me.
