We've been experiencing some dense fog in the mornings and evenings these past few days. Daytime temps in the mid-30s, dropping below freezing at night. Last night, after dark, it was like driving under a blanket. Street lights wouldn't shine upward, it seemed.

Sunny, too sunny in fact.  Drying out bad.  No moisture here.  very calm winds, high UV index, ~50F, just stale stable inverted air, with a LOT of pollution.

Some people think the Denver air would be clear because we "are in the mountains", but in reality, we are in the plains, and surrounded by hills on all sides, so we are in a depression and the cold polluted air sits there.  We call it the brown cloud, but our tourism board denies it exists and deliberately takes photos of the town and countryside when its at  minimum.  So FAKE! Some romanticize it and cal it a Broncos Sunset.  Our football team is the Denver Broncos and has colors of blue and orange.  Like the orange pollution contrasted with cloudless blue skies.  No, its supposed to be clear and sky blue, no red or orange or brown.

60F here too, very warm wind.  Fire danger increasing in parts of the state.

12 to 18 inches of snow right now. Heavy wet snow. Not the light fluffy stuff. Took twenty + minutes to shovel up to where the road crews piled up the snow. It'll take a good twenty more to get that deep pile out of the way.
It's been said that rats can gain access to your home by climbing up threw your toilet. I prefer to use the front door.

Around 9 degrees and raining outside. Not quite "winter", if you ask me. It's more like "extended autumn".

Yuck! Rain at that temperature can be a bit nasty! I agree with you...more like "extended autumn".

Bright, sunny, and freezing cold! About 7 degrees F right now. Snow on the ground, so it is winter here for sure.

About 8 degrees, a little windy, generally sunny with a few periods of rain with a small chance to be mixed with hail. During the week, the temperature will keep dropping a few degrees and the precipitation will generally remain the same.

Temps in the single digits tonight. Slight warmup for Mon., Tues., and Weds., then bone chilling temps again in the single digits for Fri., Sat., and Sun.  :o

Good thing I stocked up on hot chocolate.

I'm jealous.
Much like Rocket we have a few inches here. It's been windy but has calmed down. Dropped to the single digits.

But no worries, it'll all melt by Thursday  :P
