On Sunday I was at hardware store to buy screws .  I was given money to do so,  and the task was easy.   When at store somehow the money fell out of my jacket and onto the floor, but I didn't notice right away.  However a man saw it apparently and sauntered over.  He pretended to get something off the shelf, but was getting my money.  I realized this too late.

When I confronted him, he pretended to not hear me, etc,  and wouldn't even look at me.  So in the end, I lost a bit of money.

Spectrum, my internet provider,  has been down for almost a month now. A lot of my contacts are by email. Spectrum put out a message,

"Sign in to your Spectrum account online to check for a known outage"

I don't always get jokes. Can't tell if this is a sense of humor or intelligence level.

Apparently Spectrum is having problems all across America.
It's been said that rats can gain access to your home by climbing up threw your toilet. I prefer to use the front door.

My "local" con, the only furry convention in my state, has been postponed. Even signed up to host a panel.

I'm getting rather upset with my current living situation here and it makes me lash out in anger.  Nothing to do with covid 19.

I feel that. I have plans to move to a much larger apartment in the fall, but being cooped up in my tiny little place this long is starting to get to me a little.

Anthrohio has been canned, too. I live 5 minutes away and I've still never been...

Still haven't gotten my stimulus payment..........yet. My local bank's website has been down the last 3-4 days because of so many people trying to log in and check their payments/accounts. I'm hoping I can get a new computer printer with my stimulus payment. I went to Walmart a few days ago to check and see what they had in stock. Nothing. Absolutely nothing.  :o I guess with so many people working from home now due to the virus, computer printers were bound to be snapped up quick. I should have bought one back when I had my tax refund, but I procrastinated too much.

Strong winds damaged the door of my mini-barn this weekend.

The Sirius XM subscription for my assigned work vehicle expired this week.

My Canon MG2522 scanner/printer has become non-functional.

Two dams in Midland, MI, just failed. I hope the big chemical plant doesn't flood, as that would be really nasty, but it's right next to the river and downtown is supposed to be under 9' of water by Wednesday.  :o :(

What the heck???
Caused by snow melt? Rain? Covid19?

My bad news is I seriously suck at my job,  can't solve problems given to me, and feel like I'm royally screwed.

Rain combined with neglect. The dams were rated as "Unsatisfactory" and "Fair" in 2018, but nobody did anything about it and now the residents of Midland and Dow Chemical are paying for it.

Are you looking for another job yet?

Oh, and my battered old bike has started making some concerning noises. The pedal also broke, the frame is cracked and splitting in a couple of locations, and I don't have to money to throw at a replacement. *sigh* Ah well.

Varg, I don't know your area well at all,  are you safe if the dams break?

The dams already broke, but that's on the other side of both lake Michigan and lake Winnebago. There would have to be a Noah-and-the-Ark level of flooding for us to get wet from those dams breaking. The local dams here actually make Lake Winnebago as large as it is. If they broke Green Bay would get a little soggy, and we'd actually get drier  :D

Well, ok.  Sorry I totally didn't read carefully enough!
Glad you are safe.
Hope it isn't too dangerous where the flooding is.

My bad news is my car had started being weird, makes me wonder if it is going to fail.

Coronavirus sucks.  :( Not only has it been hiting the food supply chain with food processing plants being affected and closing, but trying to get anything else is getting difficult as well. Anything from clothing to wireless computer accessories. Things are in low supply or the shelves are empty.
I can't even get a new computer printer or a new bicycle right now.  :'(

The chemical plant and ball park are high up on the river banks in Midland, so not affected. I was actually near the Sanford dam which failed, just the day before.

Someone recently tried walking out on the Sanford Lake mud flats and sank into the muck. Emergency crews were called.
