Got in serious trouble at work because I was 2 hours late due to the fact my neighbor keeps me awake at night.  I overslept due to taking benadryl, which I despise doing.

Sorry,  I didn't like controls homework myself.  I think you can retake it, right?

Not unless I stay an extra year. I'm taking a course in the spring, Vibrations, that fulfills the requirement and is aimed at mechanical engineers rather than electricals and their abstract, convoluted math ;)

Oh, now I get it. And again sorry about controls class.

Yeah, when signals start being discussed on the complex plane,  and people start doing complex math with imaginary numbers, for real world signals,  discussing signals that are going to happen in the future,  it gets a little insane. I just rolled with it,  and regurgitated facts later.  Then I used it only a little bit in real life,  and re learned what I needed at that time.

I have yet to see an imaginary signal in real life...
My test instruments measure only real valued signals here.

So when you are done with college, you're not going to be so busy with real normal boring life that you forget us fuzzbutts are you? :( :'(

Saw my ex at the mall while I was walking around yesterday. Needless to say it ruined the rest of my night, so I went home.

The town I live in is no longer recycling as of Jan 1.
It's been said that rats can gain access to your home by climbing up threw your toilet. I prefer to use the front door.

Altercation with neighbor lead to police being called and my neighbor received a ticket for harassment.  He has a court date.  I may have to appear.

(My property was vandalized and when i confronted him i was threatened.  Later he retaliated again. He then argued with police officer and was almost taken to jail).

Nice fun way to end the year of 2018.

Now I have a security camera system installed.

BoyI gotta get the heck out of here!

Yikes, that IS bad news! Good thing that you installed a security camera. That might help stop the crap that your neighbor is doing.

I received a half built (50%) model kit from a friend back in 2016 as a gift. This friend couldn't finish the model for various reasons, so he gave it to me. Now it's 2 years later and I am finishing the model (Other 50%) and was hoping to enter it in some contests. Nope. Not gonna happen. At least 4 major contests that I usually go to have strict entry rules that a model must be the "sole work" of the person who entered it. In other words, a model built by more than one person is disqualified from entering.  :'(  My only consolation is that I can show it for "display only", but I can not enter it for competition.  :'(

TIL if you run regedit from within Windows Startup Repair, it edits the registry of the recovery environment instead of the system you're recovering. What's the point of even having it there in the first place?

(Also, swapping hard drives between Windows boxes is more fun than a barrel of monkeys, if the monkeys are trying to bite and scratch your face off because they're angry about being couped up in a barrel, but everyone already knows that. It's even more fun with laptops.)
