Sometimes, it pays to be in the right place at the right time. ;)
I wasn't planning to go to my local library today, but I made a quick stop just for the hell of it to see what new DVD's were available to check out. Also took a quick look at the "For Sale" section where the library sells off old, used, and/or donated books, music, and DVD's. And what did I happen to find for sale? The complete Season 1 of Game of Thrones on Blu-Ray!  :o  Normally, I'm not a GoT fan/watcher as I never got into the series years ago. But my curiosity got the better of me and I decided to purchase the 5-disc Blu-Ray set.......for $1.00! Yep, you read that right. $1! And the complete set is in very good condition too.

oh man! :D That is awesome. I'm not a fan myself but that is a great find.

I've learned the problem my Marshall Valvestate guitar amp has is fixable! And it's an easy fix. So easy I'll be able to do it myself. I was considering buying a new amp. So here's what i've been dealing with. From the start this amp hums. And it gets really loud if I try to use the reverb. The problem? A design fault from Marshall. The put the reverb tank right next to the power amp. The electro magnetic field from the power amp is interfering with the reverb unit. Usually you would find these large spring reverb units in the speaker cabinets of combo amps. So all I have to do is take it from where it is and relocate it. Looking forward to finally having a humless amp.
It's been said that rats can gain access to your home by climbing up threw your toilet. I prefer to use the front door.

Recent visit to the doctor and then a blood sample. All my numbers are good.
