New Year's drawings
« on: February 10, 2003, 09:14:32 am »
The new year started off on a good note for me.    '<img'>

I've created some new art, some for clients and some for friends.  Please follow the links and tell me what you think.

Vicki Fox playing soccer.  I did this piece as a commission for Michael Russell, the creator of Vicki Fox's online comic.

I did the next two pics for my best furends and pack brothers.

Opinions welcome.  Thank you everyone.  Please send me some of your work, too.  I'm always looking for good candidates for Artwork of the Week.

Your furend,
Patrick Robbins

Lookin' good there.
I like the pic of Vicki. Nice action shot there. '<img'>
One of my sister-in-laws is quite skilled in soccer. She took phys. ed. through university and played on the school's soccer team and all.

I've got some new artwork on the move, too. I put a link to it from a post in my artist forum on the board here. Maybe once I've got it finished, you can consider it for the artwork of the week contest you do. '<img'>

Thank you Benjamin.  I really enjoy getting good feedback.

I still love soccer, and I'll play every once in a while.

I can't wait to see your new pieces.  Post them on my artist discussion forum for consideration.   '<img'>

Have fun and take care.

I'll post it for you in there when it's done, sure.
I'm hoping to get around to finish it sometime this week. '<img'>

''

Thank you, WS.  I tried that straw trick myself when I was a pup, and Coke went everywhere.

I'm glad you like the pics.  Thanks for the encouragement.

Though I don't know much about art, I can say that I like those three pictures.  They give me the feeling of an innocent childhood, when you were too young to appreciate it - now looking at it, missing it.  You have skill as an artist to not only make something visualy pleasing, but also gives you something to think about, and feel.
DC2. etc...

Thank you very much.

I still approach art with the heart of a child and yes, I do miss that adventure (which is probably why my fursona is a wolf pup).  Thank you also for your encouragement. '<img'>  I just plain love to draw.

Cheers.

I love looking at the younuns because most other art is adultish. Not the x rated type but still adult personas. Like all of mine. I don't know how to draw younguns. Perhaps one day i will.

I enjoy how they make me feel young and remembering the times.

Thanks for your style of art, Son of Earth!

Thank you very much.  I like bringing back good times and making people and fursons happy.  It's why I'm doing this.

BTW, I don't know if this too much of a stretch on my part or horn-blowing, but if anyone is interested in learning how to draw furry kids or teens, I'd be happy to help, if there is any interest or demand.

 '<img'>

I'll post this on my forum, too.

I wouldn't mind learning new stuff and I adore kids. I did draw a couple pics of how I saw a small koala bear but there were no clothes etc.

I need to learn that too!

Sure thing.  I'm always willing to lend a paw.   '<img'>

Email me.  I can give you more details there, or maybe I can come up with some kind of art that best describes things.

Take care. '<img'>

I could go on and on about how fantastic this art is but ill spare the space and simply say, It's some of the best I have seen too date and Iv'e seen a fair bit. Bags of talent in these its plain too see. A big pat on the back is needed I think.
All I want too do is leave paw prints in the sands of time. (Garfield)
