Finally responding after being rather busy with finals and other things :P.

You might try using a art program like Gimp to adjust the
contrast.  That would help.. If your using a I-Pod or android
device. Perhaps you can find a app for modifying photos.

Hope that's helpfull.  Keep up the good work. :orbunny:
Thanks Old Rabbit :)!

I actually tried using Photoshop but when I tried adjusting the contrast it seemed to me to make it worse... I think the picture I took of it is the root of the problem in this case, or rather the combination of the lighting used and the glass placed on top of it. It could also be that I just don't know how to use Photoshop to its fullest extent, not yet anyway.

I like the drawings. I don't have scanner to really upload any pictures. Through I am still trying to free hand draw. If I can look at another drawing from another artist, I can draw that. I hoping with looking at other peoples' styles, I can find my own and be able to draw better.

Thank you Squeaks :)!

I kind of started that same way and I'm still working on developing my own style.

Awwwww!~ I loooove that drawing, it looks SO cute and so well drawn. I only wish it were a bit darker like ya said. But really :3 it's very nice nonetheless!

Thanks Saiyu! Glad you enjoyed it :).

I love the kitty  (: Nice job!

Thanks Iara! Glad you like the kitty :).

Wow, it sure has been a while. Wanted to get at least a rough head reference for Elusive drawn before school starts up again. It could still use some work, still not liking the way the hair turned out and I might change the eyes a bit as well.

Since I now have some time to work on drawing again, and still in need of a lot of practice, I'm offering to draw/sketch anybodies fursona for free. Simply give me the best description you can of your character and/or supply references, an expression, and a pose if you like. For now I will only do one character per drawing/sketch, this may change in the future though. You may submit multiple requests but to be nice you should wait for others to post a request before you request again. If you would like to see previous drawings I've done you can check out my DeviantArt account.

So any takers?

Here is one for WereCat, feel free to give constructive criticism if you wish. Still far from where I want to be but that is what practice is for. Anyone else willing to let me draw their fursona for practice?

After quite some time I finally got Loc's finished, tried messing with perspective a bit(could still use a lot of practice with that). What do you think? Comments welcome.

Agreed, the spots are lovely ^^

As I said on the IRC, the giant beardie looks very much like my pet Dany does. Same cheerful expression. Bet Dany would love to have robot legs as well, let her chase down locusts faster XD

I've been trying to work on further developing my fursona and actually attempting to draw it for once. So until I'm done with that I won't be looking for other stuff to draw so I don't get distracted, sorry. Afterwords though I may start looking for things to draw again, feel free to ask me then.

Had some spare time today so I finally got some work done on a full bodied Elusive. I might have have to shorten the neck when I get the final version done, looks a bit off in this drawing. Also not sure if I should stay with the 4 toes or go with 5 since I'm going with 5 fingers.

I would suggest 4 toes.  It really depends on how realistic you
want it to look. Toon furry style generally go with three or four
toes and 4 fingers..

Keep up the good work. :orbunny:

Nice ^^ I really like these ones..

The werecat: http://th08.deviantart.net/fs71/PRE/i/2013/354/b/e/werecat_by_clivvellusion-d6ypw8d.jpg
elusive practive: http://th01.deviantart.net/fs71/PRE/i/2014/126/c/3/elusive_practice_by_clivvellusion-d7hfuu7.jpg The legs need to be a little bent. Otherwise awesome work :D
and blades: http://th04.deviantart.net/fs70/PRE/i/2014/166/3/c/t_yoshi45__blades__by_clivvellusion-d7mgsnz.jpg The colors look really good on this one. The muzzle is a bit too long though. However, different artists have differnt styles of drawing though. So the muzzle length might actually be fine.

Here's a quick thing that I made just by adjusting the proportions in Photoshop to show you what a shorter muzzle would look like:

The lines represent the sections that have been stretched (either vertical or horizontal) and the arrows are colored into relation to the lines they correspond with.

Blue background: represents the original area of the image
Yellow: represents added area so I could stretch the arm down a bit
Red line: The muzzle was made shorter
Green line and pink line: the top of the head was drawn down and the back of the head drawn inwards to make the head rounder. It also make the bottom part a bit thinner.
Orange line: Stretched the shoulder to make it look better

Here's the modified version without all the crazy lines and stuff: https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3928/15229879170_7a675f7aa8_o.jpg

Actually one of the questions I ask myself the most when it comes to my drawings is "Does the muzzle look too long?" lol. After seeing your Photoshop adjustments I agree that the muzzle was a bit too long. Might try doing what you did with my drawing in Photoshop with my future drawings, to see if adjustments should be made.

Here's a tutorial that I've used before for drawing anthro heads: http://www.wilderhom.com/anthhead.htm

Some artists prefer to draw long muzzles and other like to draw shorter muzzles. One thing you can do with drawing (something I almost never do but probably should) is use references to see how long the muzzle should be with whatever species the anthro is based off.

The other thing is the muzzle might not be too long. Maybe it just looks long because it doesn't curve up to the head.
