It's not crappy, it's just a little rough; it doesn't look like it's been cleaned up yet.  Even so, it looks fantastic as it is, so i don't think you have much to worry about in terms of your skill. ;)

Thank you all for suggestions and appreciation  :) , this push me further!

A something I never uploaded:

A quick traditional toony sketch:

And a small digital sketch , though I personally don't like it, I think I could do better:

I might stick with traditional art for a while, until I will master digital art haha (:

Digital art takes quite a bit of practice, but I am sure you can master it. :orbunny:

In case your curious, all of the art I have posted on Furtopia was created with a
digital drawing pad.

Hey Akita ^^ Your getting very good at that digital art is amazing  :o I really like this one:
[/URL]
Just wondering. What process do you go though when doing colored drawings (with pencil) and how do you get your eyes to shine like that?

I'm referring to the eyes in this image: http://i1365.photobucket.com/albums/r755/Nikola_Loska/1836905_522267507896437_5386306051293228251_o_zpsccddfb35.jpg

Also, What type of pencils do you use?

I'm using Faber Castell polychromos and Albrecht Dürer (watercolor pencils) .
As for the process with the brown eyes , I start with Light yellow glaze and surround the eye with it.
Then I proceed darkening the bottom a little bit with Burnt Ochre  , and the top sides with Raw umber and walnut Brown. Then I scribble around with Venetian red to make that realistic eye look. In the end for the shine, I use white ballpoint pen .  For any eye color start with the lightest then darken it to look good. With fur the same rule applies just make small flicks of the pencil. I recommend looking at references. :) .  It all about how you organize your said 'layer', just start with light colors then proceed with dark color.

Old rabbit you got me surprised! Your work looks like so traditionally made o.o

At the moment I'm working on a graphite drawing, it's nice to try new things .
Thank you all for nice words! Also sciex , I hoped I helped a little!

Keep tuned!

P.S For Brown & Green eyes start with yellow, while blue eyes start with white. So warm colors= yellow , cold colors= white . Works for me just fine .

Thanks ^^ I think I might need to buy some new colored pencils. looks at prices* :o

(I think I'll try out my current colored pencils on various types of paper. They don't work very well on my art book. I can't combine colors, it's too oily, they break frequently, and I can never get a sharp enough tip for drawing fine details. It's probably because they are not good quality pencils)

Also, I bought myself some graphite pencils from Faber Castell last year. They are really good ^^

Your very welcome ^-^ .

Maybe your pencils aren't oily , only waxy . Because polychromos are oil based and they mix very well. Like you said, it depends on the type/company, but there are other companies than faber castell , so don't restrict yourself :) .

My first graphite drawing (The company is cretacolor)! Will be put in flea market, if anyone is interested , message me . It will be gone on Saturday! I am seriously low on supplies so I need money to buy more . Also the camera doesn't justify the detail of the fur and eyes. It's pretty much small piece A5 on bristol paper:

Your graphite drawing turned out well. You might check your local library for
a scanner that outputs to a memory stick.. It takes a few tries to get the lighting
right with a photo. Also you might find a used scanner in a yard sale. Just make sure
it works. Some cities have computer clubs where you can get devices worth the
money.

Thanks for the nice comment on my art. I used to do more traditial art, but due to
vision problems I had to switch to digital.

After working out a sketch I color using the smudge, and burn tool mostly.
Just paint some color on and smudge it around for highlights and shading.

Keep up the good work. :orbunny:
