The coordinator got a real thrill when Jandar said: "Our quest is peaceful is well," floating up to Terastas's shoulder and poking it shouting: "See?  This is perfect!"

Terastas, on the other hand, was listening to Jandar's description of the Kalga with wide unblinking eyes.  It was true that the Avari could not look kindly upon those that resorted to weapons, nor did the elders that empowered them.  They had allowed themselves to be exiled from their home world for that very reason.  But those had been corporate troops that cared only for the planet's uranium deposits (and later to make theme parks of the Shrine and Monastery).  But a force which knew only destruction moving to anihilate all life on every planet...

No.  If the Avari permitted the Kal'Tak to continue, the elders would ensure that they were the first to go.

"Then with yours and the Kalga's permission, I will lend my abilities to your cause," said Terastas with a bow.  "I shall return to the Monastery to instruct my superiors of our situation.  Then, if they will permit it... I shall see if the elders will grant me knowledge that may serve better for the task at hand."

"You have my perrmission, I'm sure that Kalga would not mind either. It has a great amount of fondness towards your race, to have one aboard it, I think would only increase it's fondness and perhaps moral."

Smiling I bowed my head back, "I hope you have good luck receiving what you need."

Turning back to The coordinator I have her a bit of a small smile, "We'll be leaving as soon as Kalga wakes. It would seem that we are getting pressed with time, with Kalga sleeping for at least a week, that is a great amount of time lost to us. But it'll also allow us to prepare.

Is it possible that we can have several asteroids brought here? Kalga is going to need energy for it's trip, and possibly other trips. If it is possible to have them about 1/30th of Kalga's size that would be great. It has problums consuming anything greater. I'm figuring refueling is part of this station's duty correct? I guess this could be considered the same, just a diffrent medium. Also.... I know this is asking alot, but do you have any sort of Elctromagnetic emiters? It might serve as another food source, as well as being another tatical advantage. I'm not sure if it would prove useful for the latter, but the former it may do well.

I know I ask alot. Specially to a port as small as this. But with the Kal'tak out there, I can't really afford to waste much time. Too much can happen in an hour."

Trustor listened to Alex’s explanation weighing in the wolf’s words in thought, “Purpose can be a fleeting thing.”  Trustor reflected back, “I’ve always in the past had a set purpose.”, “I was manufactured in the Karath cluster as a BEFU “Biological Engineered Field Unit”built to heal and support other units and humans.”, “Karath is a cluster with immense wealth.”, “They have spared no expense in maintaining the empires power, control, and security.”

Trustor turned to show his serial number along his upper left back, “BEFUs are built for efficiently of task.” “With a full energy pack I’ve reattached and healed back to combat functionality a severed limb in 7 seconds.”  “But I’m a test version “b” re-keyed to dampen and tap the discovered energy form called WAY.”  “I mal-functioned to that end and we were abandoned.”  “Now I’m here just waiting  my expiry date.”

Trustor looked down at the watter in thought some worry in his expression, “Most all my memories are only to preform my services to Karath.”  “Though I have no knowledge or understanding on “LIFE” or be alive without Karath control.” “BEFU’s do not get that info.” “So I am lost.”  “I find myself repeating what I used to do.. supporting.”  “I suppose I will keep doing that until I figure out what life really means and if I exist as a part of it?”

Trustor turned his head to see a bat female that had just caught Alex’s attention.  Alex spoke in return to her.  The tone in the wolf’s voice had picked up a higher pitch answering her question, his reactions rigid, and his pupils more dilated.  The bat like female then reacted in return by looking at herself and making soft toned noises of distress perhaps calling.  Trustor got a curious look and turned to Alex, “Is this a copulation ritual?”.  Trustor thought remembering the lessons in species behavior on other cultures continuing, “On Karath matings are allowed and a frequent way to bond  between packs.”  He continued, “But those are always a request followed by a plain acceptance or denial.”  Looking at his watch Trustor looked a little disappointed, “I’d like to study this in detail Alex but we are due soon to meet the Avari on the docking platform.”

Terastas smiled admirably.  "Thank you."  He bowed his head.  "It would be an honor."

The coordinator shrugged at Jandar's questions.  "Asteroids?  Well... Being an environmental reserve, we don't have much industry... Although the asteroid belt isn't that far off; we could probably send out a call to the mercenaries that come in once or twice a week to pick a few up if you want.  As for electromagnetic emiters..."

"The Monastery can supply them," said Terastas.

The coordinator double-taked.  "Where?!"

"Some of the transports on which the Avari were exiled to Eravia on were equipped with them," said Terastas.  "We've kept them maintained all these merhaks as a memorial of our old home.  Though... That was a long time ago."

"Even by Avari standards?" asked the coordinator.

Terastas nodded.  "It was before I was born, yes.  I'm not sure how far technology has developed since then, but they might still suffice."  He stepped on to the elevator but held the doors open for a moment.  "I could take you directly to the landing sites if you want.  Its only a short walk from the landing station."  He smiled.  "And I'm not speaking in Avari terms this time."

OOC: Just a little more theater. I can't help myself, its just so much fun. Don't worry Gorbin is comming into game play soon.
 ''

IC: In a shadow filled room, faint thumps can be herd.

*smak*<Blusam> watch where your going. Om, sorry Gorbin.
Well just don't step on my foot again. OK.
~wishper~ Gorbin why did you ask him to come? He hasn’t been the same since he got hit by lightning, besides he should have re-rooted two seasons ago.
~wishper~ Fessan he's here to lift the heavy stuff, so shut up.

Into a shaft of light walks a Huma ten feet tall, with ears touching the roof. Down one side of his head is a streak of yellow grass. He looks in to the dark "Gorbin is this it?"
Yes, Blusim it is. Can you get the log out of the way?
Om, Ok.
As Blusim gives a mighty grunt, into the light walks Fessan 4'10", and sporting a grin.
Gor: Fes if your not going to do anything at least get out of the way. As he loses the grin Fesan says, "You know we should be at festival"
Gor: Well were not, and its the same every year.
Fes: ya but...
Blu: I like the dance.
Fes: see we could be having fun.
Gor: this is the only time we can get in here without anybody seeing us.
Blu: My head hurts.
Gor: ~ pats him on the thigh ~ Blusim that’s, good it means your getting more of you old mind back.
~ Flashback ~ Blusim speaking to a small group. ~he stomps a foot ~ we have got to know where we came from, we can't be afraid of the Old Ways.

Gor: Blu put this key slug on top of the door.
As Blu goes out of sight, you see a Huma 5'6" with 4 arms, broad shoulders and ears that would remind some of a Kit Fox's. Over sized gray eyes with flecks of blue and red, that look out of the face of a green leopard cub. The body is covered in thin (fur like) grass in three shades of green. The only article of clothing on any of them is arm and leg bands, elaborately made with leather. Poking out of the grassy fur is yellow button sized mushrooms covered in red spots, growing in eye caching patterns. As he steps up to the door one could see wide feet with three toes, two in front, and one in the back.
Gor: Blu, give it a squeeze at the base. No, not that hard. Good.
Fes: Gorbin you think it will happen this Mehrak?
Blu: Gor, the doors waking up.
Gor: I don’t know kid…. Grait, thank the world tree its not dead.
~ All three thump their left foot. ~
Gorbin takes out what looks like a gofer with no legs, and a long tail. With the puffer in hand he presents it to a small vent by the door. Fick, combo 65-2. Fick inhales holds it then exhales into the vent. As Gor. tries to get the right sent. Fessan is quickly getting bored with all of this (He’s only 37 Mh.), so he starts to explore this shadow filled cavern. He can almost see this place the way Gorbin sees it, as a way station to the Grate Spider Web.

---------------------
All over the world in valleys big and small, The Dance is growing. Growing deeper in to the roots of the world. Then something happens that only the Elder trees can see. The Way of the world is waking up.
Suddenly there is a new beat in The Dance and without a thought all the Drummers beat in syncopation to the world beat.

"Very well then. If we can pick it up now, that would be great. I figure I could bring it up myself, even if it is too big. I could try and bring it up via telekinetics, though I'm figuring it's a bit of a long haul.

Alright then. It's been awhile since I've been planet side anyways. If the fresh air doesn't kill me, I'm guessing that whatever insects you have on your world will. One of the reasons I don't make much visits planet side, for some reason my race's blood is sweet." Grumbling a bit I move over to the elevator, before entering I turn around to the coordinator.

"Thanks very much for your help, and tolerence. This is all quite on the fly, and Like I said if any sort of compensation is needed, I'll gladly try and provide." I then stepped into the Elevator with the Avari called Terastas of the Monastery.

The elevator doors shut and the elevator began its long descent back to the planet.

"I'm not sure how fresh air could be a problem," said Terastas, "but I wouldn't worry about the insect problem.  There aren't any parasites on Eravia... Though if you see a beetle about the size of the coordinator with brown and black stripes on its back, don't go near it.  I don't know what they do, but I'm sure the humans call them Bombadier Beetles for a reason."

Bombadier Beetles? This place sounds scary already.

"The fresh air could kill me due to the fact that I've been breathing reproccessed air for the past..."  a small pause as he considers just how long he has been on Kalga, ".... 5 years? I haven't had a whiff of the natrual stuff for a long time, even then it was mostly industrial pollution from my own planet. The Natrual stuff could be very well poisoness to my inefficent system," I chuckled a bit.

"No matter. I'm sure these Bombadier Beetles would cause more harm to me, then an oxygen rich enviroment."

Alex listened intently to Trustor. Once he had finished, Alex sat for a moment. He got an odd feeling deep down. It was pretty familiar. Manufactured? Malfunction? Why did these words make him feel nauseous. It was at that moment that the young bat had entered the room.

After Alex had given her a response, he heard Trustor mention something. He felt his ears burning harder. He picked up on having to go, and catch up with Jadnar. "You're right we'd better go before we dissolve in here", he said quickly jumping out and snatching a towel off the rack. "Race ya", he said grinning.

Trustor’s ears went back a little in surprise at the female’s negative reaction to his questions.  While Alex jumped out of the basin running a race.  Was it something I said?, Trustor thought.  Trustor stepped out of the basin and spoke to the bat like female trying to show some courtesy, “My name is Trustor a field medic.”  He continued with a sheepish but friendly smile, “I.. I.. Didn’t mean to offend.”  “I guess I lack real experience in group social interaction.”

Trustor picked up his scanner.  He removed a glass c-class plasma protein pack from his back pack and inserted it in his scanner.  Accessing the scanners computer functions Trustor keyed in the protein sequences into his keypad.  As some of the neutral protein drained out of the vial it quickly resequenced by the scanner into it’s new organic form.  Trustor removed a small capsule and placed it next to the female’s basin within her reach.  “It’s a anti-inflammatory and healing stimulant for muscle tissue.”, Trustor spoke putting on his cleaner clothes.  He smiled feeling a little more comfortable working in his element, “I would offer more but I lack a energy source to utilize.”  Trustor picked up his pack and slung it over his shoulder.  “We’ll be topside on the docking platform if you want to join up with us.”, Trustor continued, “Now before I put all my paws in my mouth at once speaking about something besides work, I have a race to most likely lose.”, Trustor said laughing as he started to head out.

Babel Moved in to the evelator the rest must have used. Upon arrival with the rest of the people there he saw one of the new arrivals huddled against a wall. Jadnar seemed  to be talking to the plant like creature. The other was asleep and the rest seemed to likewise tired to some degree. Babel had finished the repaire on his arm turning it back on he growled and winced in pain as he did so. Feeling slightly tired himself he looked for a comfortable spot. As he walks by Simon he suddenly snaps awake causeing Babel to jump. He hears him shout NO DAD. Babel recovers his stance he moves closer to Simon and see's he's crying. A memory burns through him as he sees his own father disspear befor his eyes and a pain once more shoots through his arm. He grabs it and growls again. He then lookes back to Simon *maby he could do with a chat * Babel moves over.
"Ummm hey there umm Simon is it"
Babel moves over and crouches by where Simon is sitting.
"umm hehe my names Babel listen you ok there , I mean befor you looked in a pretty bad way."
Simon still seemed a little disorentated from waking so fast and didn't reply at first.
" Hey I umm don't mean to pry but you seemed to be haveing a real bad dream there about your  DAD?. aww heck sorry im just kinda not used to meeting people and with all this crazyness well. But you just seemed like you needed help?"
Babel routed around in his coat and pulled out a small cylinder.
" here umm take a sip of this nothing to bad just tea im afraid but " Babel offers him the cylinder.

Alex was running through the corridors of the Kalga towards the exit out onto the Avarian station. He stopped to see if Trustor was tailing him...no-one there.

"Come on slowpoke!", he called as he headed out. Unfortunately the stations gravity got the better of him. He tumbled down he gangway firmly faceplanting the walkway. He looked up to see the words "Dock 4" printed across the far wall.

Ooc: On station you mean? Well, I figure you may have some tricks of getting around it, or you could very well use the system that everyone else uses, Stepping on the bar, and being flung sprawling ^_^. I could imagine that you could push off, and using your wings, corkscrew your body through the changing feilds and ultimatly land on your feat. But that is one way of doing it. Do it however way you wish ^_^ End OOC

Simon wakes up at the sound of Trustor speaking. Rubs his eyes realising he was wrapped in Trustors jacket. He looks aound and doesnt see the pictures. He gets worried and looks around hastily for them. He searched himself and found them in his pocket. He hears Trustor saying others can leave and that they would be doing certain things, yawns and says,

"Uhhhh... do you guys mind if i tag along. Im lookin to find out where im from, more about me and my past, and i have nowhere else to go. Anyway you guys seem friendly and hopefully i could make friends with some of you. I need something to take my mind off things"

After he says this he falls asleep...

As he wakes up, he feels the sun beating down on his face, the grass beside him sways gently in the wind. Next to him lays Josh, still asleep. Theyre both in a green sweater and a shirt with black trousers. He figured this was his school. He looked around and saw all his friends shouting 'wake up sleepy head!', this woke Josh up as well, and he got up laughing. He had the cutest smile thought Simon. Then as he walks into the school building, the environment changes. It looks like his house, he walks into the kitchen and sees his mom, who has her back turned as she turns around, she has a large bullet hole in her head. She collapses to the floor and Simon rushes to her. As he is crying his dad walks in. He closes his eyes to wipe the tears away and when he opens them, his father is in front of him on the ship that was attacked. He helped Simon put a space suit on and says 'dont worry, everything will be fine'. Then he pushes Simon into the air lock and releases it. As Simon floats away he watches the ship explode and the shockwave hits him. He floats in space for a while crying and then he blacks out.

Simon wakes up and screams
"NO DAD!"
After this a tear comes to his eye and he's breathing heavily...

as Simon sprinted down any random corridor, the alarm was sounded and red lights were flashing the loud voice of Tylon was heard over the intercom:

"THE NEW KID STOP HIM ESCAPING!!!"

5 minutes running down the corridors seemed like forever. Simon ran into a guard that looked like he was on more drugs than a heroin addict. seeing as Simon didnt want to kill him, he tought he would try out his kung fu skills h studied while on his home planet. he ran towards the guard screaming his head off. as the guard went to kick him, he blocked it and hacked out his other leg, knocking the guard to the floor. as he ran off, he stamped on the guard to make sure he wouldnt follow him. another 5 minutes of running and he finally reached the escape pods in the base. as he ran to enter one out of nowhere came a huge puch. he looked up and saw Tylon standing there. this time Tylon puched Simon in the stomach. as this happened he coughed up some blood.

"what do ya think ya doing Simon. That was no way to treat me after i took care of you now was it?"

"shut up Tylon you madman! i cant believe you would do something like that!"

as he said this Simon pulled out his gun and pointed it at Tylons head.

"Tylon just let me go"

"what are you gonna do shoot me? well come on then shoot me! what are ya waitin' for huh? SHOOT ME!"

Tylon reached for his gun and as this happened there was a loud gunshot. Tylon collapsed to the floor with a hole in his head and Simon just stared at him. he ran on the escape pod, closed the doors and launched himself into space. when he got out of the planets atmosphere, he walked over to the nearby radio, crying his eyes out. he speaks into his radio:

"is there anyone out there that can hear me!".........

Alex got back to his feet sluggishly. He didn't know what to think. He was tired, angry, and pretty shook up. He looked around at everyone, and finally at Trustor. Alex gave his repsonse.

"I'm with you 100% Trustor. If I can I'll try and help you figure out your path in life, and maybe my own in the process. Remember back on Repine? You watch my back...I'll watch yours.

Alex gave a faint smile and continued. "I don't know much about what's going on except that it involves these so called Kal'Tak. So why don't you fill us in on what you know".

Trustor watched the bat female laugh and dart past him out the room.  Trustor smiled and tail wagged finding  humor in the mirth and inability to answer.  Trustor looked down at his uniform and lifting his belt buckle he hit a button shifting the camouflage fiber color in his combat uniform from grey:110 (ie: camouflage green to dogs who can’t see color) to black:20.   His combat gear was not designed for civil attire.  But perhaps a more solid color would be more socially acceptable on this planet.

Trustor heard Alex call, “Hurry up slow poke!”  Trustor bolted out the door to keep up with Alex.  His fast canine legs picked up speed as his long nose led in front of him following the wolf’s scent through the hallways.  “I’ll catch up to that Alex!”, Trustor mused.  Trustor rounded the exit and saw the station.  Alex was pressing his elbows against a wall.  Trustor went towards him, “Ha! Didn’t think I would catch u....p......”  The floor lost it’s traction as Trustor’s feet buckled out from under him.  But instead of hitting the floor Trustor felt his body pulled straight towards Alex! *thump!* Flying through the air with a look of shock Trustor collided with Alex into the wall newly turned floor.  With a look of surprise Trustor turned to Alex eyeball to eyeball and grinned a toothy canine smile, “Ummm gotcha!”

I think it's a problem of players waiting for other players.  Myself, I'm waiting for Jadnar 'cause Vernon is following him. And I imagine he's waiting for the others who are supposed to be playing the card game.

In case you card game players' are waiting to see the answers to my questions about the card game, (I'm sure you're not but anyway) I say we count 1's as aces AND have aces in the second roll. That makes for more aces and fits with the card game's name. Besides, that's how I figured WS meant it anyway; I was just asking to make sure. (Also feel free to ignore the deck analysis; you don't have to know that stuff. I only did that because I like doing that sort of thing. )

Then with a smerk "I'm good."

"yeah...you got me", Alex muttered from underneath Trustor. He gave him a gentle push to get him back on his feet. "The gravity on this station is seroiusly out of whack. Don't they maintain their systems?"
Once Alex had managed to get to his feet again. He looked around for the others. "They must have went on without us".

Zairith stood there, waiting for something to happen, anything.  Canines are dynamic creatures, standing around for so long was getting boring and he knew that if he plugged himself into the computer system again things might start getting.....nasty? so he looked at the wall and started to talk to it, hoping that the computer was listening.

Uh...Is there an exit around here somewhere?

His own computer was completely useless since it hadn't been able to take a blue print of the ship and he didn't have that information.  So once more he relied on his birth given gifts.  He followed the scent of the one that had been annoyed at him for plugging himslef in, as he moved down the ship he scented other smells, one that seemed...canine? or it was ocnfusing, it wasn't his species but it was similiar.  He was very aware however that each step he took in this direction brought him one step closer t othe station on which the information he had taken lay and if he set foot on that station again....His brain said no, but the adrenaline in his system said....GO FOR IT!!

As he turned the corner he saw three figures twisting and turning (in this case Alex, Trustor and the bat female...sorry I'm not sure of the name)

He retreated slightly, but then realised his arm was weapon enough and stepped forward boldly.  This is always a tstupid thing to do when you've seen other people struggling, thinking that you might be able to somehow over ride what has been happening.  Zairith's feet disappeared from under him and he spun uncontrollably, it was almost in slow motion as he hit the floor on the other side.

"OOOOOFFF"

He managed to get to his feet damm quickly, ready for anything that might be thrown at him.  Although he was definately disorientated, he liked gravity when it played by HIS rules or at least the rules he expected gravity to play by.

The computer spoke softly into his ear

We're back aboard the station Zairith, I'm trying to avoid detection now, I don't know how long we will be able to fool the stations computer system, I advise a brief visit, when a computer gets a clitch it tries to fix it and at the moment we're glitches.

Zairith noded slightly.

try and keep it busy as long as possible

he whispered to the air, those not owning his computer would just see the lupine like creature talking to thin air.
"You can train a dog with food, buy a man with money but no man alive can tame a wolf."

I jeard the faint shouts of distress coming from the hall, so I ran too see what the commotion was.  I burst into the transmissions room, and looked out the wide window, and all I could see with my blurred vision was an odd shape.  It could  be a ship, but then again, things can be too good to be true.

Eccentricially with a hint of fear, I huffed, "Thank the Creator, but can we confirm thats its friendly?  You never know, it could be hostile, and that cant be good for anybody here."
