Tell me about...puppetry in the furry community!

Because, I don't think I'd be comfortable in a fursuit (not because of looks, because it'd be heavy and hot to me) I am very interested in making a puppet of my fursona and becoming a puppeteer.

Is there anyone in the furry community who does this kind of stuff as well?

I met a guy who used a puppet. His website http://fluffyjackal.com. You can see a pic of him  with is puppet at the far right of his banner. Unfortunately the vid of him as Wes and Junior is no longer available.

Just now saw that last reply, thank you for the links!
I can't afford an all out full body puppet at this time (I'm assuming) most especially if it's custom made, so I'm thinking I'll start with getting a simple hand puppet that I can customize a bit for beginning.
If anyone sees a website selling a cartoony or at least cute looking little otter hand puppet (with a mouth I can open and close) do report!
Also, might contact that Vickyfox person.
First I'll take a lookie at their website though.
