I've heard of the Calvinists, but I think I'm a Calvin-and-Hobbes-ist.

If I was never born...would it really be possible for anyone to miss someone who didn't exist?

If they can have Alien Vs. Predator, then why not ET Vs. ALF?

I almost always relate more with the antagonist than the protagonist.  I think i might be a bad person...

You can't have slaughter without laughter.

Air is poisonous, everyone who breathes dies.

Is that a real quote made by somebody famous? It sounds familiar like I've heard it somewhere before. Maybe in a book?

All the worlds problems are caused by those who do nothing to change it

Life is movement, the act of surviving. to lie still is the true meaning of death

If you can't cry, laugh

All things have a beginning, middle, and end. It's up to us to start strong, keep up our efforts, and go out with a bang

If energy can't be created or destroyed then universal entropy can't exist...right?

The heart is an unsolvable puzzle box, the feelings change too quickly to figure it out. Our inquisitive nature will never overcome it's secrets. We will always be left wondering about it as a whole, we can still break down it's parts but in doing so we lose part of the solution to what makes us up. For we are the sum of our parts, if our parts are fractured so is the man.

Carbon dating is inaccurate because the half life of a carbon atom is presumed to be 5,730 years. Has someone observed the radioactivity of a carbon atom for 5,730 years and saw its radioactivity halve? (This leads to calculation from carbon dating turning into millions and billions of years).  (maybe I should put this thought  in the debating forum)

Almost Everything you currently know in science will be disproven or changed

Magic is just a name humans use to describe something they don't understand

Science was once magic

Magic and Science are the same but different (nice oxymoron)

Magic is science that is not yet fully understood

there is more this world that what we can sense. (Thought it was better then: there is more to the world than meets the eye. However we have more than once sense so I thought this was stupid)

Just because we cannot see something doesn't mean it's not there.

Just a random quote I made a while ago on a long journey: "When one is immortal, one gets tired of being sane"

"Don't argue with a fool, onlookers may not be able to tell the difference." - Mark Twain  <-- ehh, This one has happened to me quite a bit. Some people are just messed up when it comes to what they think is true ^_^

People have religion because they want to believe there is more than what is. - Which reminds me of terry terry pratchett's quote..

"“All right," said Susan. "I'm not stupid. You're saying humans need... fantasies to make life bearable."

REALLY? AS IF IT WAS SOME KIND OF PINK PILL? NO. HUMANS NEED FANTASY TO BE HUMAN. TO BE THE PLACE WHERE THE FALLING ANGEL MEETS THE RISING APE.

"Tooth fairies? Hogfathers? Little—"

YES. AS PRACTICE. YOU HAVE TO START OUT LEARNING TO BELIEVE THE LITTLE LIES.

"So we can believe the big ones?"

YES. JUSTICE. MERCY. DUTY. THAT SORT OF THING.

"They're not the same at all!"

YOU THINK SO? THEN TAKE THE UNIVERSE AND GRIND IT DOWN TO THE FINEST POWDER AND SIEVE IT THROUGH THE FINEST SIEVE AND THEN SHOW ME ONE ATOM OF JUSTICE, ONE MOLECULE OF MERCY. AND YET—Death waved a hand. AND YET YOU ACT AS IF THERE IS SOME IDEAL ORDER IN THE WORLD, AS IF THERE IS SOME...SOME RIGHTNESS IN THE UNIVERSE BY WHICH IT MAY BE JUDGED.

"Yes, but people have got to believe that, or what's the point—"

MY POINT EXACTLY.”
― Terry Pratchett, Hogfather"

How can one trust what they are taught when they later find it to be a lie? (This is in regard to Censorship. I was told Australia did not take part in censorship and then found out this is a lie)

Censorship is simply a tool to gain false power

To walk through the door of change you must first find the door.

denying change is fear of the future and an attachment to the present.

enough random thoughts? :P

It is indeed possible to have your cake and eat it too. You just need the right kind of cake.

Trees only hit cars in self defence

If dogs are man's best friend, then your life partner isn't?

Life can be like a game of Tetris, what's the point of building it all up just to see it disapear before your eyes?

Thinking about the cosmos is philosophy, studying the scale of the cosmos is a headache best avoided.

You know, the only reason they won was because of Han.  Indiana Jones always wins, even when he's pretending to be someone else.
