The Devil’s Stone near end of Vol.2 manga. This was actually seen somewhat in the middle of the anime series, not toward the end.

The world where the Beast Warriors and Darknoids come from has flying craft/spaceships? This is near the end of Vol.2 manga. This scene was never shown anywhere in the anime.

Near the ending of Vol.2 manga, Kira does a self-sacrifice to save Touya and/or others. In the manga, he stabs himself with Touya's sword. In the anime, there is no such scene.

Near the end of Vol.2 manga, Kira and Touya are fighting each other. Why, I don't know. Nothing like this was ever shown in the anime.

At the beginning of Vol.2 manga, Darknoid Prince Zaza gets fatally stabbed by one of his subordinate officers. Again, this scene was never in the anime.

Somehow, Touya is sent to the dimension/planet where the Beast Warriors come from. Here he is seen talking to the Queen and/or her Advisor from that world. This was never in the anime.

At the beginning of Vol.2, Touya on a space transport talking to the Queen's Advisor. This was never in the anime.

At the beginning of Vol.1 manga, Touya is helping a civilian. In episode 1 of the anime, Touya was helping a downed Air Force pilot.

In Vol.2 of the manga, Touya is fighting one of Prince Zaza's subordinate officers. In the anime, there is no such scene.

The only explanation I can come up with regarding Touya and Kira fighting, is simply jealousy.  There's hints of it in the show when Kira felt he could be a knight too, and Touya goes and says it isn't easy and not everyone can be a knight.  Kira obviously wasn't going to listen to that and kept training.  Perhaps the scene was to show that he could be as good as Touya perhaps better.  I'm trying to remember the end of the show, but I thought at one point Kira was actually the hero knight, not Touya, even though all along it was touted that Touya was the hero.

Any pictures of the animaloids to compare?

Near the end of the anime (Episode 25), Kira sacrifices himself to save Touya. Touya gets captured and shot by a Darknoid officer in Episode 24. In Ep.25, Kira finds Touya and uses his "lifeforce" to save Touya and bring him back to life. But by doing so, Kira dies.

The animaloids in the manga are the same as in the anime. No changes from what I can see. I don't remember where I read it, but I had read that Grayfus was going to have a female companion love interest? But I think this may have only been if the series had gone into a second season, which it didn't.
