Just putting this in just because that's what has just popped into my head.

But seriously, what is everyone's favorite coffee or tea?

My favorite coffee is any type of French Roast and my favorite tea is Earl Grey.

I like the taste of coffee, but it bothers my stomach so I never drink it. But use it as flavoring in something else and I'll eat it up.

I also became a fan of tea in college, thanks to one roommate of mine. I like a wide variety of teas. One of my favorites is peppermint. Others that I'm a fan of are this chocolate-hazelnut black tea that I have, lemon-ginger, chai, various fruit-flavored teas, and earl grey.

For Christmas, my sister got me some loose-leaf teas and an infuser. I'm rather enjoying the freshness of the loose-leaf stuff vs. the individually packaged stuff.

@Ziel: You should take a look at "The Republic of Tea" there a tea store with a lot of different types, including loose leaf I believe.

Oh man, I have drank significantly less coffee lately though. Gotta tell you, It feels so much better to drink tea. My Keurig is my best friend though for hot chocolate. Peppermint hot chocolate will do any day.

I do use loose leaf stuff too all the time in the way of tea. I like so many different kinds of tea though...I should have explained that.

I'll have to check that out. Gotta finish my few varieties of loose-leaf that I already have first, though.
We also have a Teavana store in the mall just down the road from me, so I might have to wander over there and see what all they have.

I also love tea! Yay for tea!

When I took a trip to China two years ago I had the most delightful experiences in teahouses and bought a ton of Chinese black, green and jasmine teas. Pu-er tea is meh, kind of...fishy flavored? Hard to explain. I also love fruit tea (with loose dried fruit), rose petal tea, and chai tea. I tend to prefer black tea over green tea. I love tea in the mornings with a touch of sugar, either packeted or in honey, with a bit of milk to go with it.

My mate and I adore Thai Iced Tea.

As far as places to get tea go, I find that I enjoy The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf brand in the U.S. over Starbucks' Tazo brand.

Coffee is not for me...love the smell of roasted coffee, but my poor stomach hates me whenever I drink it.

My English friend gave me some actually. I'm sure you can get it in several other places, but that was sweet of her to send me some from her home in London.

I like mint, sleepy time, and red teas. I also like coffee, but it needs sugar and milk. We actually have some gunpowder tea at my house, and it has the caffine equivallent of a caffine pill and a can of mountain dew.

HAHAHA! It's so true 'bout gunpowder. I haven't finished the whole tin of it yet. I use it when I'm like falling asleep at my computer every so often.

But yeah Sleepy time is good. I like Red Rooibos. I like most of the herbal teas and the fruity ones. My hot beverages are special to me!

Vanilla chai, Earl Grey, and Constant Comment are definitely my top three kinds of tea... any kind of black tea is good for the most part though.

Green tea is kind of dope to, come to think of it... haha.

I just made myself some chai tea from my keurig. It's was awesome. But yeah, Earl grey is most of what I drink. I like so many kinds...man I sound repetitive.

We Brits have a terrible habit of spoiling tea with milk. And sugar. And then dipping food in it.

Tea: Various Japanese green especially tea with roasted Rice.

Coffee: any dark roast whole bean will work for me

When it comes to cofee, nothing beats Hazelnut coffee. I also enjoy the classic brown tea with honey and sugar by loadsfuls.

At least one member of this forum can personally attest to my coffee addiction (along with my wanton disregard for creamer

) Hazel nut is a particular favorite, but anything with caffeine will do in a pinch.

For tea, I mostly drink sweet iced tea. McDonald's when it's half sweet, half unsweetened is usually about my speed, but if I'm making it my self, I like a two to one mix of Luziane Black and Green teas. As for Hot tea, though I don't drink it often, I'm partial to Celestial Seasonings Honey Lemon Ginseng green, with a couple of packets of Korean ginseng tea mixed in for extra kick.

My favorite tea is Lady Grey -- it's like Earl Grey, but there are a few more subtle flavors going on in it. Though, of course, I also like Earl Grey, and I like to keep a variety of herbal teas around: raspberry, mint, lemon, peach, licorice spice, etc. I especially like the herbal teas that combine several flavors so there's a certain complexity to the taste -- teas like Christmas Eve or Sandman are a good example of that. Licorice spice is nice because it's naturally sweet.

Many years ago, I recall having almond tea with my husband's grandmother. It was absolutely lovely, but I haven't been able to find it since then. Another wonderful tea that I don't have easy access to is called "rhubarb cream" -- my brother-in-law sent us some of that in loose leaf form for Christmas last year.

You know, I really ought to check out a local tea shop and see if I can get myself some of these more unusual, higher quality teas there...

Coffee. I think that encompasses all the kinds of coffee I like. And I have become almost addicted to celestial brand teas. Most flavors.
