Ok, back home for winter break, so time to get some more art done in time for post 3k

Anyways, also going to finally have access to a pencil sharpener (for colored pencils), and......... but first I need to get my main computer back set up.

Ok, I have some better test art that was a result of my self-calibration with the tablet
However, I'm working on... COLORING IT O_O
So... yeah - that will be my first all-digital, fully colored, not-a-game-sprite work. XD

I'll put it up once I'm done coloring it ^^
But yeah, in contrast to that first test art (which I uploaded to FA but neglected to post here because it was getting late), I think that it's improved quite a bit.

Good work once again, Avan.  Interesting pose, too.

One thing here I'm wondering about is why all your images seem so washed-out.  It's fine for the b/w sketches, but the color in this last one just struck me as being so...ghostly?  I'd like to see your art with more full colors.  If it's the upload process, maybe you should look into digital inking/coloring?

In the physical ones colored up to this point, it was an issue with the coloring pencils, where I was using my sister's set of erasable >.> colored pencils, which had a point where they removed as much of the dye as they added, making it impossible to make it any darker, thus I would have to rely on digital-touch ups.

In the digital one I put up today, I was experimenting with some methods of coloring, and thus I have not put on the final layers of color, since I am still experimenting to see what comes out well. (in the description, I even awknowledge it as being washed out; its a known issue, one that I'm working on resolving) ;)

Ok, going to be out for a while, but I should be back later, possibly with more art.
