A jute box sells bananas
To take his girlfriend to the Bahamas
But no one takes the fruit
But gives the jute box a dirt boot

Timid creatures slinking low
Across the forest floor they go
Summoned by a gentle note
Come the ferrets, come the stoats

Come the skunks and come the cats
Come the mice and come the rats
Something's stirring we can't see
Something's stirring in the trees.

everything is lost
only to be found by the next generation
when they find the ruins
they expect to see greatness
only to find out that it's not true
when the civilization fell
they were wrong to believe in nothing
now that the new generation has their technology
they will advance where the fallen have failed
in the creation of advanced thought
only the stars aren't the limit any more
