---to Jet---

life seems to get us down
it happens to us all
in the words of a good friend of mine
the one who had the gall

we are all in a dark room
we just need to make a call
now is this a call?
are back against a wall?

i understand you don't need a pro.
but maybe i will do?
when u need someone to talk to
i'll be there for you

if u let me through
the wall that you have built
maybe i can see
maybe help it tilt

tilt it in a good direction
and not into a rage
not into a dark side
but turn another page

you have alot ahead of you jet
don't let this get you down
and this will sound kind of tacky
but turn that frown, UPSIDE DOWN!

I said this once already, and I shall say it again. You write?!? And poetry no less! Ya... you don't strike me much as a Poet. You especially dont strike me as a song writer. But you know what they say, songs are just poetry set to a beat.

but turn that frown, UPSIDE DOWN!

Reading that poem made me smile, and at night, that's quite a feat. Given, I know it had nothing to do with me, but I liked it anyway. Nicely done. :)

I got a letter from Tryke today, the back of which had a short poem on it. He requested that I post it on Furtopia for you all to see, so I did just that. Feel free to comment, although he won't see them until he gets back again. I might quote some comments in my next letter to him, though. Anyways, here is his poem...

Quote from: TK_FPS_KING
When the dark gets out
There is no doubt
My mind just takes it's flight
Dreams, visions, imagination, and nightmares I must fight.
I seek the warm and comfort, that I cannot yet have.
Until I break these prison walls, and take my lady's hand.
Until that time, I must find, the light that hides inside
And let it shine away the evils, that rest within my mind.

Another piece from Tyler, he requested I post it for him. He would quite enjoy feedback on this, as well as all his poems, which I would be happy to relay back to him. Personally I love this one, sounds like it could be part of a song or something.  :)

Quote from: TK_FPS_KING
When I wake up in the evening, my thought process goes
To all of my sorrows, my troubles, and woes
These dark thoughts are creeping, right into my head
For instance, what if we are already dead?
What if this is the after life, this misery and pain?
What if there is no God's name to take into vain?
And what if my mind just sits there and rots?
Until I am put into grandma's flower pot
What if my death is not easy or quick?
What if I'm stabbed with the end of a pick?
But slowly these dark clouds roll into my head.
What if I fall not into sleep, but death instead?
