Raptor's Poerty

Never really done a poem before! I hope I did this right. Its based off a Haiku pattern but doesn't stop after three line. Comments are welcome.


Bouncing rubber ball

Squeaking with every hurdle

Ears swivel listening

Muscles tighten ready to pounce

Tail wags back and forth

Vigilant sentry watching

Objective spotted

Launch yourself at the ball

Chomp, squeak, vicious fight

Gnaw, POP!!! You’re safe once again

Proud hero you stand
