Poem (just a simple first shot, feel free to critique)
« on: December 02, 2013, 12:46:22 am »
You fell that day and no one will remember you
For the wars you fought for us
Even though this pack ought to
You were a part of us
Or at least I thought you were
Will everyone remember you
Beyond the day rocks ripped your fur to shreds
Will anyone think of you for what you did before you were
Dead
They pretend to cry for you
But the pack they sneer inside
It's true
It started with an injury
In battle you fell from a tree
You broke your leg
And it was not
A respectable injury
And everyone they laughed at you
Called you clumsy
Called me crazy for falling in love with you
You fought no longer
But one day you went to hunt with me
At a waterfall
Looking for fish
But you were crushed onto the rocks below.
Whenever I see these signatures, I feel like I should use mine to say something really interesting and profound, but I always end up with some generic quote or saying. Hmm. That's unfortunate. Well, now guess who looks like a excessively meta killjoy. I do!
