A note about spelling and punctuation.
« on: March 21, 2012, 10:04:43 pm »
From time to time, we all have a little trouble with being good spellers and using proper punctuation when we post something. Some of the reasons can be, but are not limited to the following:
* Member is of different ethinicity and not fluent in English.
* Member may be having comp/technical issues.
* Member may be using a smartphone or other small device and it could be hard to type properly with a small touchscreen or keypad.
.......etc., etc., etc.

Recently, the Staff has taken notice of members "expressing their viewpoints" in a not-so-kind way about bad grammar and punctuation in several posts and threads. While it's understandable that members will get agitated with an individual's typing problems, It is strongly recommended that members please be courteous and respectful to the offending member no matter how much their typing may aggravate you. You can "respectfully" make suggestions to the member to improve their typing, but please do not disrespect the member on the open forums.
If a member is severely bad at grammar and punctuation and/or may be doing these things intentionally, then please report the issue to the Staff via the Report to Moderator function which is described here: http://forums.furtopia.org/index.php?topic=37714.0
........and the staff will look into the issue. ;)

Thanks for your understanding. :)
