To make a clickable image link, the image needs to be contained within the url tag as the image is what you want to display (as opposed to displaying text), like this…

[url=http://forums.furtopia.org][img]http://forums.furtopia.org/Themes/Furtopia/images/head-left.jpg[/img][/url]

Which will appear as this…

FCF6adsw A+ C- D H M- P R++ T+++ W Z Sm# RLCT a+ cn++ d e* f h+ i+++ j++ p+ sm#

Well… I had this typed up before I read your post there, x_x  …but I figure why waste it so here, hopefully it will help explain things a little better for you, or others should you not have use for it. ;)

Tags are predefined functions that can be called by typing them, however almost all tags should be properly opened and closed to prevent display errors (the horizontal rule [hr] is really the only tag that should not be closed).
For example, to use the image function you need to call the embed image function by typing [img] followed by an image url.
Now as far as the forum software is concerned, everything after that tag is the information to use to display an image.
So to prevent the forum from interpreting the remainder of a post as the image information, it must be closed by calling the tag again, but this time a / is used before the tag identity, such as [/img], this closes the tag and ends the string (variable text field) for that tag.

So to open, define, and close an image tag you would type [img]image url[/img]
(Don't forget, rather than typing it out manually, you can always just press the image button).

The url tag is similar in that when it's called like this [url], everything beyond is defined as a clickable object untill we close it with [/url].
But in that example, the clickable text would do nothing, like this link brokentopia :(, that's because there is no url attribute in the url tag.
It's best to think of it as an extension of the tag in that the tag equals the value you enter, like this [url=http://forums.furtopia.org], the url equals http://forums.furtopia.org.
So to make the link work we define the tag and it's attribute, then the clickable text, and then we close it, like this [url=http://forums.furtopia.org]Furtopia :)[/url], and that works like this Furtopia :).

Now, to make the clickable text a clickable image, we need to call a tag within a tag…
The one thing to remember when using tags within tags is that, any tag that is inside another tag must be closed before the outside tag can be closed.

Like this… if the url tag is open [url], we can now open the image tag [img], (thus placing it within the url tag).
after defining the image location, we would then close the image tag [/img] ending the image.
Now in this case the url tag is still open, so we could add text after the image it we wanted (that would also be clickable), or we can just close the tag [/url].

So to place a clickable image, you would open the url tag and define it's url attribute (the location clicking the image or text will take you), then open the image tag, and define the image (the online location that the image is hosted), then close the image tag, and to end the clickable area, close the url tag.

like this [url=http://forums.furtopia.org][img]http://forums.furtopia.org/Themes/Furtopia/images/head-left.jpg[/img][/url]

Which looks like this…

Or you can have additional text (putting the text after the image tags will place it next to the image, putting the text on the next line after the image tags will place it under the image)…

[url=http://forums.furtopia.org][img]http://forums.furtopia.org/Themes/Furtopia/images/head-left.jpg[/img]
Click to go to Furtopia.org[/url]

Which looks like this…

Click to go to Furtopia.org

That's about the best that I can think to describe all of this right now so I hope that helps. :)
